Too right! Those games were a lot of fun!!!! I forgot about them. Now those should be released on Arcade as 'edu-tainment'!!!
It is a very short and basic game, but it is good to play with kids as it is a "I spy", "where's waldo" type game. Very very basic, and much like the DS game Mystery Case Files, only less involved.
Still, it's always good to have diversity of game experiences on Live Arcade.
Ahhh Sega megadrive. I remember when fanboys were younger and immature and fought about the Nintendo being better than Sega or the other way around. Now we have older immature fanboys fighting over Sony and MS.
The more things change....
WOw...a limited edition that is really limited!
This was in another article here last month:
http://www.n4g.com/News-266...
It makes financial sense, but doubt it will happen.
Amen to that, and stop comparing FPS to RTS games: I'm sure a Killzone RTS would rock too!
Especially if Ensemble had done it.
I was skeptical too about RTS on consoles but Endwar really worked imo. I'm hoping Halo Wars is easy too, and the article seems to think the controls are good.
OMG do you have to compare a FPS like Killzone to an RTS? Does Killzone have to be compared to EVERY game out there? This is getting soooo old. I'm tempted to not buy it just because of all these sorts of idiotic comments.
But I will, because I like good games no matter what GENRE.
Way better than LOTR was Endwar. It showed that a console control system could work well.
Yeah we still have the action adventure games like Uncharted and Tomb Raider, but not the Broken Swords and Monkey Islands on consoles.
I used to play those with my wife and together we'd enjoy the puzzles and humourous dialogue and story.
Yeah I wonder if they should have just killed it off now that Burnout went a different way.
Oh well, we'll see.
Why does the list have to have exclusives only? I just want to know what is coming out on the 360 (as well as the PS3 from a PS3 site).
Get over the 'exclusives only is important' people: there are only going to be a handful for both consoles each year as multi-platform makes a lot more money for the publishers!!!
And my list to buy would be different...good thing there is so much choice! We all have individual tastes, so the more the merrier (unless it is just shovelware like seen so much on Wii...)
@ Krakdoll
Lol. Just lol. No clue whatsoever. Anybody who says the 360 or PS3 don't have lots of quality games each are deluded. Those of us lucky enough to have both consoles know the truth.
If you don't have a 360 you can't comment.
Having heaps of games is a good thing as people have different tastes. Having a million modern war shooters or Japanese RPG games would be no good, but there is a genuine diversity in the list.
And that goes for the PS3 this year too. I just hope that the smaller studios can still make their games and that they are good. Not just all the sequels and licenced games that is predicted due to the economy.
My kids love the different tasks you can do like get points for injuring yourself!!!
It like that a game like Skate adds to the diversity of gaming experience out there.
I'm just glad we have such events somewhere in Oz outside Sydney!!!
You make a good point: there are fewer and fewer exclusives these days anyway...and publishers would probably welcome it.
Exactly right: if the economy keeps going downhill there may not be enough room for 3 competitors in the console market. The first to die will likely be the most expensive.
That would suck, because I want both Sony and MS to survive. The Wii just doesn't suit my style of gaming.
I agree: the Wii has tapped into a new group of gamers who would never have played PS1 or NES. The word "casual" has a lot of meaning in gaming these days.
I LOVE thief and I'm old enough to remember playing the original Wolfenstein on Apple IIe.....
