@Axe, I agree $500 is a decent price. Nobody should complain about the price. Yes it comes with Kinect and features that you might not use but that is what the package is.
If both consoles were $500 then nobody would be saying that's it's expensive. But Sony have done amazing to pull off the $400 price tag for that is (at least) the same power as the X1 (most likely more powerful).
PSP and Vita are well supported by Sony but because games sales on PSP...

@Lalanananana You couldn't be further from the truth. Both consoles will be around the break even mark. The reason that the PS4 is more cheaper is that Sony are an hardware company first and foremost, although MS are not bad at making hardware themselves they will not beat Sony when they are on top of their game. The PlayStation brand is very strong. I don't think any other brand would of survived last gen like the PS3 did.
Price is a factor but you also need a strong brand.
Worldwide the PS is a slightly a stronger brand than Xbox, couple in the fact that PS4 is cheaper and this should result in a huge sales gap between the 2.
There are other factors that play a part but price is the main one.

It's £80 cheaper. That is why it's outselling the X1. People seem to overlook this, £80/$100 is a huge margain.
People that are Xbox fans will get the X1. Sony fans will get the PS4. All the people in between will be swayed towards better price.
I honestly can not tell much difference between the 2. Forza 5 has more light reflecting off of it but this is no way a judge of quality. Different amounts of light will reflect off depending on the angle and source of light.

@Nate, I agree with you. Activision will want TF to be a massive franchise and delaying it on the other consoles will have a knock on affect for future releases.

Sports games aren't casual but a lot od casual gamers play them. Look at any casual gamers game library and the few games they have will more than likely have Fifa or Madden in it.
A lot of disagree, Ryse facial texture and lighting is a lot better while Crysis looks lifeless. KZ is very good looking but not on par with Ryse cutscenes.
That said, in-game gameplay graphics is far better on KZ. Views overlooking the city, particle effects, beautiful lighting and textures are all better on KZ and the gameplay looks far superior on KZ.
You have to admit though that the Ryse cutscenes are the best for launch games.
Ryse is the better looking without a doubt.

This is america where MS dominates. If these figures are correct and the PS4 is beating the X1 you can be sure PS4 is dominating in the rest of the world where its Sony ground
It kinda needs to stop. I've been called MS fanboy and Sony fanboy for expressing my opinions. This is where it all starts. People lack the ability to debate and get angry if you don't say something that supports their chosen side. Usually if you say something that can't disprove.
People will find that if you talk to people properly you can get a good discussion even out of the most hardent fanboys but it rarely happens.

Gameplay actually looked quite diverse. I like the new open level style and freedom to tackle a mission the way you want.
I watched gameplay on GTTV where they were in a building, blew an hole through the wall and then shot everybody through the makeshift doorway. Destruction looks awesome. They also mentioned that you could get to your target by literally blasting your own path of be a bit more stealthy and sneak in from top.
Plus the MP looks really good. ...
The way people reacted as if it had been cancelled altogether. It's a delay, it happens.
It's getting stupid because it's a constant back and forth between the fanboys. One set of fanboys say they do it to get their own back but dont realise that it's been going back and forth for a log time. Not since the MS DRM, not since Move and Kinect, not since the PS3 launnch but from the start.

It is mostly cutscene. Cutscene is still in game. I think this could be another Heavenly Sword. Good looking but shallow gameplay.
To me Heavenly Sword had better combat than this. This game is masked by pretty cutscenes and slow mo executions. I think a lot of people will be disappointed but if It gets a Metacritic of 80 or higher I will admit I was wrong.
Other than that Forza looks great and does DR3. To me those games are a safer bet

See a lot of PS, xbox and PC trolls that have freedom to do what they want and mods need to sort it out because its only bad for the community.
