If you still want to play your PS3 collection, then you keep your PS3. Chances are that you sold your PS3 and its games and made money on it and therefore giving up the right to play those games anymore.
Now if you want to revisit or play a game that you haven't played then you will have to fork out some money for Gaikai. If you are concerned that you can't play your PS3 games then you keep your PS3. If you want to go to full next gen, trade-in/sell your games and con...
That is probably the best bit of advertising I have seen in a newspaper.
Well played son!
Yeah it will work. PS Plus covers all systems L0wbanR says.
Maybe so Dark but no need to be on the defensive for the sake of it. Fact is the X1 is selling great. The PS4 is selling great. When competition is this strong then the only winner is the gamer.
Why bring PS4 into this. What he says is true and no comparisons were made.
Why is Halo the only word quoted?? Shouldn't it be 'Halo killer' and not 'Halo' killer?
Ryse had to cut a lot from performance to achieve the high quality look. 26-28 fps and sometime dipping down to the teens while having average quality animation, dumb AI and running at 900p.
I would say a lot of top developers could achieve Ryse's graphic quality, and better, if they aimed for poorer performance. Let's hope they don't.
Bird is trolling. Let him be ignorant by himself.
Both console run within accepted temps but the larger X1 shell and excluded power brick means that the X1 run 15 F lower. Both consoles shouldn't suffer from overheating.
That's the objective opinion.
@Icicle
It's totally fine to have an opinion if you put it across correctly which you have done.
I haven't played the new Killzone yet so I yet have to make a judgement. But I know people slated the old Killzone's gameplay which I enjoy a lot to play. I think it's could be a matter of taste rather than bad/good gameplay because it certainly isn't broken.
The gripe I have with Killzone 3 is the cover system and the fact th...
You know what I mean you little joker you!
Thankfully is has both.
@decrpyt
That's true but what's also true is that we haven't even got past the launch and people are predicting what Sony are going to release.
We already know games that aren't shooters planned for the PS4 (google it) and we know that different projects are going on in the background.
It's really silly to call it "shooterbox 4" after a week. Especially when a few of the shooters are 3rd party, out of Sony's...
You always have to review objectively. Maybe KZ:SF got reviewed down because it's exclusive but it could also be that it looks for different things in games. This is why it's probably better not to attach a number and read the reviewers experience. You can then judge for yourself if the things he likes/dislikes mirrors your own expectations.
In akk fairness they might have different reviewers that look for different things on their site. That's why we're looking into getting rid of the score system on our site.
@Nuke. This is pretty normal for eletronics. We live in an era that anybody can be vocal about problems via the internet.
The same exact situation will happen with the X1 launch. Hundreds of people will report problems (because it's easy to be heard on the net) and will look bad but in reality it's normal and only affects a small percentage.
GT6 does a decent job of it.

I'm glad they delayed the release. The game looked good before but nothing mind blowing. The last few months the graphics have gone from lagging behind Forza 5 to leading the way.
Not surprised with their history and the awesome looking WRC games on PS2. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
They took a break from realism with MotorStorm on PS3 but it's nice to see them go back to rea...
Actually they both haven't been released in Germany. In fact the X1 releases a week before the PS4.
Not sure why people had to bring the X1 into it.
Yoshida compares games on the PS4 to games on the PS3. He states that the higher res and better controllers makes auto aim less important because of the improved amount of precision.
Nothing more, nothing less!
They probably made those estimates based on knowing how many they can produce out of the factory.
