@CrossingEden
I think he's reffering to that MS announced that it won't be avaialable at launch
@FCF I totally agree with you. People still game in their 40's but the percentage of people that are in their 40's and game are a lot lower than people in their 30's. Teens and 20's it's even higher percentages. You might have a lot of friends that still game but on a whole the percentages are low.
My original point was that asking people in their 40's and 50's if they are going to buy a PS4 or X1 will seriously affect the results because a large p...
There are definitely gamers in their 40's and 50's. What I mean the higher the age goes, the less likely they will be interested in gaming.
The majority of teens I know own a console, a lot of people I know in there 20's & 30's own a console. But when you start to go in the 40's range it dips drastically. But there are definitely older gamers out there.
What I do see is the average age of the gamer to continue to rise as we go on. Peop...
Over 30% are 50 and onwards. That's a huge chunk of the poll that aimed the questions at an age range that aren't into hardcore gaming machines.
Almost 50% are 40 and over, while some 40 year olds do play, the consoles are targeted at teens to people in their 30's.
To get a true result they should of kept the figures to the main target audience of consoles.
It's like going to an old peoples home and asking who likes Jay Z. Yo...
@Ballseye
I read the link. It talks about suspending the OS/apps to allow more GB to be allocated to the game. But doesn't MS want you to run the OS and use apps like skype while playing games.
Personally I think DRM for piracy is great. The DRM that MS had in mind was not for piracy.
No problem man. Thanks for removing report.
Did you read the article in Full? Read past the halfway point of the article nick.
Sad news. The giant bomb crew have always had a great standard in journalism. Ryan will be sadly missed. Our thoughts go out to his family.
Digital is the future we can agree on that. But what is wrong of offering consumers both?
We are at the stage that there is a higher demand for physical media for games than digital (on consoles). Sony and MS both offer digital versions of games so to try and kill physical media is a bit to soon. Let it die out naturally and let consumers convert to digital with a smoother transition.
I would say lets wait till we get our hands on the game. ATM with what we know it deserves to be a sequel. Hundreds of news cars, new track, updated and better UI, better physics, all the standard cars have been improved.
This is before we know the changes to tuning your cars and the improved weather system.
To me it's GT6 but let's get our hands on the game before we can even quaetions it.
When he hit the sign that was insane. It collided and spun out like you would expect a car to.
A yes to the yes to the no
Even SPAM got less disagrees than trendygamer. So the conclusion is that SPAM is more popular than COD.
I feared that Drive Club would suffer from being 1st of a new franchise on a new console. It will still be a good game but we might have to wait for Drive Club 2 to get an epic game.
Knowing Evolution Studios they can make this into a great franchise. I'm a big fan of MotorStorm and they proven they can do realism from their WRC days.
@Falviousuk It's a viscious circle when it comes to fanboys. It's a shame and it will never stop.
That article you linked only adds fuel to the fire though. The fact is we have fanboys from both sides and as long there is one there will always be another.
Now the real way to eliminate fanboys would be for Sony and Microsoft to show respect to each other from the ground level and respect would filter upwards.
Since they are at each ot...
It's an improvement for sure. There is lag and heart rate didn't seem to work properly but the body rotation, impact thing and able to calculate things in the dark or uneven lighing are very nice indeed.
Will it mainly be used for exercise and dancing games? porbably (besides none gaming things like Skype and to control tv). We'll have to wait and see.
I'm not sure about these images. The xyab buttons don't look as good as the official pictures (triple injected molded buttons) we have already seen.
The insides also look a bit cheap. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a 360 controller made to look like the Xbox One controller by some random chinese factory.
This is very true. But surely they need to find the right middle ground to optimise their profits. Selling high and less could be better at selling low and more but there must be something in between that will make them more profit and be more reasonable for gamers.
I can't see too many people forking out the dosh.
EDIT: I just go a notification for replying to my own comment lol
It's a shame that you have to pay but they need the money to stay competitive with PSN. PSN and Live will do so much more on PS4 and X1 that it needs money to fund it.
Plus Sony can't not afford to turn down the extra cash for Playstation that helped the 360 last gen.
