If they never thought about the future why does Sony flat out borrow their entire online gaming infrastructure? And if they didn't have visiion why did they build and fund studio's iconic games like Irrational, Bioware, Bungie, Lionhead, Epic?
Lets cut the bullshit here. MS has brought just as much innovation to gaming as any other company in the field. You can make the case that Xbox was involved in making games like KOTOR, Gears of War, Halo, Bioshock, and Mass Eff...
The scary part about this is that MS's next year release titles are going to be just as good if not better. The projected list could be Forza 6, Scalebound, Tomb Raider, Quantum Break, Halo 5, Fable Legends, and Project Spark.
Nope I don't feel second best at all. This year I would've played Titanfall, MCC, Sunset Overdrive, FH2 and Ori. Those games on top of the non stop updates that's made my XB1 better, GWG that's churned out decent titles, Microsoft's commitment to getting content on the device has left me as a happy customer.
My console, and I'm saying this as some that has access to other consoles like the PS4 and WIIu because roommate and girlfriend own those console...
Microsoft definitely has the better exclusive lineup this holiday. I think every release they put out has a chance to get a 8.5 or better on various media websites.
Your in a small, small minority. Who cares if it's not in 1080P? If they can't get 60FPS locked or smooth at 1080P then why sacrifice the gameplay and smoothness of the framerate for some magical number? 900P is good enough. Damn I hate these new generation gamers.
Pirate it then.
No one but Japanese people or westerners obsessed with japanese culture care about TGS.
I would bet the house on them showing it at TGS if it's still in development. If we were to believe Sony that they completely scrapped the PS3 version to make it a full on PS4 game then it should be close to Alpha now if not moving into Beta. It's not like they're starting from scratch.
They already had the framework and from what I understand a few journalists actually saw the game running at pre alpha and that was a year after their announcement of the game. If...
That Eight Days IP looks fucking sick. Who the hell was developing that? The idea is dope too. Someone needs to buy that IP and make it into a AAA franchise ASAP. Also if EA doesn't make a Star Wars 1313 and a KOTOR sequel then they're idiots. Those games, especially 1313, could be the next franchise to ship AC and COD numbers. As for the rest of the list I could take or leave most of the games.
I was excited for TLG when they first announced it because I was coming ...
Except it's not Tomb Raider vs Uncharted. It's Halo 5, QUANTUM Break, Tomb Raider, whatever other fall XB1 game vs Uncharted 4 and whatever other PS4 big exclusive. It's not as simple as you claim. MS didn't buy this game to move XB1's alone. They bought it to beef an already good 2015 holiday exclusive lineup to a outstanding outstanding 2015 holiday exclusive lineup.
I'm not going to click to link to give this a hit, but what is his reasoning? How does this hurt MS in any way? They just added an exclusive in the holidays to go right alongside Halo 5. How does adding content to your users and potential buyers end your console? I get there's life long gamers who want to get a career in journalism. I get that and I understand that since it's easy to get a blog up and running you want to get paid from clicks. But some times going after clicks with...
Dead Rising 3 has not bombed in any sort of way. It's actually one of the more successful games Capcom has put out in years in terms of actual profit because they literally paid nothing on the development side and marketing side. Plants vs Zombies also sold decently and is still making money after going multiplat. The only timed exclusive game that's " bombed" is Ryse because of the avalanche of horrible reviews, mismanagement of the game's budget from crytek, and unreal...
This game, at least from the cgi trailegame and looks like DMC meets monster hunter. Add in Kayima as the main Dev on this game and that has me intrigued.
Why would any third party studio invest in making a game on the Wiiu? The games simply don't sell well on the platform and most of these devs don't want to go from porting on new gen consoles and then go to porting on the wiiu with its specs.
The reasons why people think the wiiu has been getting poorly ported games is because devs usually have their main teams working on the better hardware and either employ outside or internal studios to do the last gen ports or ge...
Don't worry millions on top of millions will buy it. I'm sure your one non purchase is going to hurt him and haunt his dreams.
Where are you getting these sales figures? Thin air?
" Wii U's hardware sales pace is roughly the same as XB1. Is that success for Wii U or failure for XB1?" Randomass you do know the Wiiu launched in late 2013 right? And the last sales figures for that was at 6.8 million in a year and half close to two year time span. Microsoft is doing almost 1.8 million less in nearly half the time on the market. So how are they selling at the same pace? Where are you getting this stuff from?
I've said for years Nintendo could never post a loss if they'd just abandon the console makret and simply became a third party publisher. I've been saying this for a decade now. It makes zero sense to keep fighting companies that are simply too far ahead of you both power wise and features wise. If Mario Kart was multiplatform that game would be at 15 million units sold right now. Without a doubt it would've doubled or even tripled whatever profit Nintendo made on the game. It...
It's ok. Not great not bad. The graphics are top notch and the combat is satisfying but gets repetitive at times. It's a decent game and probably Cryteks best written game.
This game has the best graphics I've ever seen. More devs need to build games from the ground up for high-end PC's pronto.
