I'm not going to search for the articles, but a lot of the staff have branched off and are now making an indie game. And the rest of the guys have worked on the puppeteer and recently Knack. I believe you can find the link to the indie game some of the ex employees are making on IGN.
If they do announce it at E3 they would either have to release it that year or give a firm release date with about 10 minutes of gameplay to reassure people that it would be good. I would've bought this game without seeing one ounce of footage, because Shadows of the Colossus was masterpiece. But 8 years later I would have to see the game running real time and have a firm release date before I get my hype back for it.
TLG is a huge mystery, because it was just 3 or 4 years ago that Sony was showing it off behind a closed curtain running at pre alpha. The only people to ever see the game running were Ryan Clements and a few other journalists. To have a game that far into development and then to scrap 4 years out to make a PS4 version makes little sense. Not to mention Ueda is not even directing the game anymore and a lot of Team Ico have either moved on to different projects at Sony Japan or left the studio...
It's amazing how much shit this console gets, but as an owner MS just keeps doing little things like this that make it so worthwhile. The monthly updates, The games, the constant feedback they take in and actually implement is outstanding. The system gets better and better every passing month.
EA should stop making NBA games and start making Baseball games again. I like MLB the show but that game has started to bercome copy and pasted and stale the last couple of years. Once this game bombs they need bring back MVP Baseball.
I wasn't too excited about the look when they initially revealed it, but the up close view of the design is outstanding. Very beautiful console and controller. I just can't justify selling my Xbox One for this one though lol.
They should make a fight night kinect game with gloves and a helmet with sensors in them to simulate the feel of a actual fight. Idk if Kinect could handle that or maybe VR would be more plausible, but I've always wanted to play a game like that were you're all the way immersed in it. Playing sports games like UFC and Boxing isn't that fun anymore.
If what you're saying is true then that's going to be a problem for me. And is the gun really that bad? It looks cool in videos, but I've heard nothing but bad reviews about it in these previews.
From the gameplay I've seen the gun mechanics look so stiff and the movements look off. Then again I haven't actually played the game so who knows. Sony and RAD should really cut together a demo, similarly how they did the TLOU demo, and release it to all PS4 owners about a month before this game comes out. Cause from people I know that have tried it and the previews are not so kind to it.
I love gaming, hate childish platform fanboys that troll people all day.
I don't get your point man. I tried reading this article a couple of times and I just failed to see what you were talking about or your reasoning.
First things first, you don't understand how game development works. No dev is going to develop any game past parity. Why? Because they develop both versions of a game simutaneously on both systems. They're not going to op[timize past what they need to optimize for. Hence why some games run below 1080P on Xbox One. Your line of thinking is that since the PS4 is " stronger" they can hit certain milestones faster with putting more resources into optimizing it further. That'...
There's no such thing as gimping. That crap does not exist. Devs have a set alloted days to work on the two systems. They apply the same tools, effects, optimizing, ect to perfect the game. That's why if the PS4 and Xbox One reach PARITY, which is common because they're developed side by side, then they don't pour more money into optimizing past that. It has nothing to do with " gimping games." It has everything to do with money, time, and resources.
I like arcadey games, but Saints Row jumped the ship to me after the first one. I appreciate the fact they didn't want to be considered GTA clones, but damn the last couple of games are so over the top and rubbish. It's a shame cause I'd love to see more big AAA open world style games. Preferably an open world game with heists in the vein of GTA V, but only with way more heists.
I can't be the only one that could give two shits about this crap, right? If I want to get a consensus on if a game is good or not I just go to metacritic to get the overall impressions. And it's the internet you have tough guy nerds that hide behind their computers all day that will say mean hate spirited shit to people for no good reason. Writing a petition isn't going to stop that.
A buddy of mine told me this game is bad, but every gameplay vid I've seen has been decent. If it's really F2P without any rip off tactics I'll download it on XB1
And who's publishing it to bring it to PS4? Who's putting up the money for that? You think MS is going to pubblish the game and then release it on PS4?
The last couple of GT's have been rubbish. Even die hards of the series admit that.
So what's the alternative? They went to MS because they didn't want to give up their IP rights like they HAD to do with Ratchet and Clank and Resistance. They obviously would've made the game multiplatform, but couldn't find a publisher that would allow them to keep the rights and they're independent so they just can't self fund a AAA game like that.
He's consulting the game. He left Team Ico years ago.
