Remedy takes their time with their games. If they're showing full on gameplay in August I'd expect it's coming out between February to june 2015. I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed it either to a later date. They're known for taking a very long time to perfect their games.
I think Fable Legends and Forza Horizon is coming out this fall to join Halo remastered and Sunset Overdrive. I think that's it for Xbox One. For PS4 I honestly have no clue. I think they have Last of Us remastered coming and Planetside 2 to join Driveclub, but those are more ports than really anticipated games. I think they'll announce games at E3 to be released this year.
The time changing elements of this game is going to be insane. I remember picking up Max Payne for the first time and falling in love with bullet time and this looks like this generations bullet time. Hopefully we get a mini gameplay trailer at E3 and then a an extended gameplay trailer at gamescon. MS's E3 must be packed. No way would they exclude this game for gamescon even if Remedy only had some ALPHA footage.
Man oh man thank god for MS giving Remedy a big budget again to work off of. They're finally coming back to their shoot em up TPS roots and I can't wait.
It's also done to show viewers which platform that game is being marketed under. Which is why most japanese devs show up in Sony E3 conferences and most EA and COD games show up in Microsoft E3 conferences. In the end it's all a business
I think Sony will have a very strong E3. I think games like Uncharted 4, Guerilla new IP, God of War 4 will get CGI treatment with Uncharted 4 getting possibly a gameplay sequence. I can also see maybe the last guardian being teased. To me it's going to come to how many of these games get delayed or scrapped. Because Sony promised a huge amount of games early in the PS3 life cycle that never came.

I doubt Cyberpunk is anywhere near ready yet. I have a feeling we won't see that until around 2017 or 2018. I'm not shocked they're at the Xbox conference, though. Witcher 2 was on 360.
Also, Facebook gives them Capital, Manufacturing, marketing, a brand, and financial security to entice devs to that platform. People on the internet live to complain about subjects they know next to nothing about.
The hate comes from people who never and will never own a business and understand what it takes to own one. They already gave up equity to reach their capital goals to manufacturer OR, there's no way they could've competed with billion dollar corporations working off of investors without giving up 50 percent equity.

Even if you hate Microsoft and won't be buying an XB1 you have to give it to them. These Software updates are fast, add a shit ton of features, and they listen to their community and fix what's not in the OS very quickly.
You're arguing a semantics game. If Watch dogs is a good game and Journey is a better game and WATCH DOGS HAS MORE CONTENT, MULTIPLAYER, AND DLC, then of course Watchdogs has the better value and experience. I don't know why this is a debate.
The average consumer could care less about the specs of a console. Most have zero clue about resolution and what framerate even is and what purpose it even serves. So saying that's a factor is ludicrous. The PS4 is outselling the Xbox One for 3 reasons so far in the last 6 months. It's cheaper, Marketed better, and launched in more countries. More platforms= more games being sold. It's not really hard to come to that conclusion. And I don't think they're bad devs, I just think 5 hour games should not be compared to 20+ hour games with multiplayer and overall more content for your money.
I heard they want to be multiplatform, so I guess this helps them. I expect to see their next game on Xbox One if not then at least Steam. They're a good dev so more profits from their games is a good thing.
Quantum Break is probably the most anticipated I've been for a video game since GTA V. I've waited for Remedy to go back to their high action TPS roots and now I'm finally going to get it. Between this, a potential Last Guardian game, and Red Dead Demption sequel are my most anticipated games of the year.
Games like Journey should not out score games like Watchdogs. Content matters no matter how you look at it.
The delay was inevitable to me. The gameplay looked really off to the point I thought they were showing alpha footage. No way could they have made a 2014 deadline. I hope ready at dawn fixes this, because the fluidity of the gun mechanics makes or breaks a TPS.
Forza Horizon was one of the best racers I've played in a long time. Damn near perfect. Playground is such a great dev team. Hopefully they announce a sequel.
