I thought they will ever make a new IP PS4 game unless Sony lets them keep full control of the IP.. Insomniac only makes games they can own the IP of now.
Completely off topic question. But a buddy of mine has a macbook pro 2011 version and he wants to play Diablo 3. Do you guys think his macbook could handle playing it?
When did any one play the TLOU at conventions to even say that? Are you making stuff up? The only time it was playable was through that demo Sony put out on PS3 and everyone loved it. I don't see the parallel here.
Do you have proof that you played the demo? If not then it's fair to say I'm going to take Marty and other people's opinion more seriously positive or negative.
Wait how do you know he sucked at the game if you've never played it? That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard. You don't even know how the gun plays or how it feels when it's shot, so how can you say he sucks at it?
From September to the years end my XB1 is going to be filled with shooters. Destiny, Sunset in October, COD AW, Far Cry 4, and then MCC in December. I might have to hold off playing the other games like Ori and Forza Horizon 2 until next year.
It was pretty bad. I didn't think it was unplayable and I've had a decent time playing it for free. But it's not that great or as good as the other titles released on Sega.
I'm shocked that they're putting Super Time Force on GWG that soon. It's a great game probably the best indie released this year. The other stuff is underwhelming. If you have a 360 and never played reach I'd download that. Otherwise both offerings from the respective companies have been underwhelming for next month. Super Time Force is probably the best game announced, though. Highly recommend downloading that.
I'm just waiting for someone to grasp at straws about how this is a bad deal for gamers. All EA Access has done from its inception is offer greats deals on EA games, 4 free games that value far exceed the 30 dollars you pay per month, and you get to play games early. I don't see how any one can find fault in this.
What kind of services? Money? Cause if that's the case then that is called payola and that's against the law. I doubt these sites would admit to that.
I have no background knowledge of any of this. Can someone give me the sparknotes of why this is so controversial?
Well I'm not shitting on the guy for trying to get clicks. My gf worked as a free lance journalist so I understand these guys get paid by the clicks. That's not my issue. My thing is the article itself is a decently written article, in my opinion. He didn't need that convoluted sentence in the beginning. He's cheapening his self worth as a journalist. If he writes like this and tries to get hired by a major publication they'd dismiss him instantly.
Who knows right now which one is better. Both from my understanding are in the prototype phase. Apparently Sony somehow figured out how to display lower res and not cause motion sickness, which has been something Oculus hasn't been able to do. At the end of the day it's gonna come down to which one gets better software support.
What website that tries to be taken seriously starts off a sentence with "Calm down Xbox fanboys, this isn’t going to be another article where I line you up square in my sights and pull the next-gen trigger." It's a decently written article, why destroy your journalistic integrity by writing like that?
I've lost all interest in this game when Yager said there's no ending to the game. Sorry I can't play a game where I can't 100 percent beat it. Also the way they describe the game it's basically once you get through the main stuff all that's left is the same side missions over and over again. Since the game never ends you have to do basically the same side mission with different characters to justify the game. Sounds like a mess to me.
It'll probably sell well outside of gaming like the first kinect did. Some of the stuff that people were using the first kinect to do was astounding. I've even seen people use it as a cheap motion capture device for animation. I think they should just promote outside of gaming and make it an all purpose device an play up its strengths accordingly. The device itself is great tech, but if devs don't want to develop for it and show off that tech then it's a paperweight.
They've already basically said the game will be a stripped down version of the XB1 version without the weather effects.
When a company builds a service around giving away free games per month. Then, yeah, I expect good free games if I'm paying for the value. It's not about having a silver spoon. It's about seeing value in the money spent.
This year as a whole for PS+ has been awful. Last year and even earlier this year they were putting out decent games, but man the last 6 or so months have been dreadful. I've kept my PS3 for PS+, but if this is what's coming in the future I might as well sell it and put the money towards a PS4 in the future.
There's no chance it's going to PS4. None. Insomniac is a indie dev and Microsoft is funding the project. PC is much more likely since they own the IP.
