I kind of agree. Xbox just delayed, and are gonna drop a ton of games in 2023. 2022 is PS5's time to shine, and they aren't. Where's the MUST HAVE games that will make the general public want a PS5 over what xbox is about to drop on Sunday
TWO xbox conferences next week?! And this is before they add Activision/Blizzard studios to the mix. They will need a whole week of conferences in a couple years, they have that many studios
Full MW2 lobbies? - yes please!
They have 2 scenarios. Lose game pass subscribers temporarily until the games start rolling in. Or put some big 3rd party games on game pass day 1 this fall/holiday. My initial cheap promo period for game pass ultimate just expired and i'm going back to xbox live gold until a big game shows up on gamepass. Lucky for xbox gamers it's very easy to switch back and forth each month between gold and ultimate if you want to.
Yes to all. heck, just throw the old cods on game pass, and you'll have packed lobbies on backwards compat. Unfortunately the xbox activision deal won't be finalized until next year
Get ready for Starfield gameplay
STARFIELD
Full reveal in June. Hunch. not confirmed.
Based on what though? No gameplay? That's how Bethesda does it. I believe the opposite, that the game could've released last holiday season but xbox already had Halo and needed this game pushed to 2022 holiday. They literally just sit around talking about the game lol. Full reveal will be at xbox showcase in about 6 weeks.
Not to mention that'd be a huge blow to xbox holiday lineup if the most hyped game ever is pushed to next year.
LOL
Lol just can the game already, massive maps designed for 128 players and weird operators no thanks. Focus your efforts on bring all BC2, BF3, BF4 maps to Portal, 6 maps is a joke for the best mode in the game which is portal.
Starfield
Redfall (unsure until gameplay reveal)
MW2022
Halo BR
Valorant console (likely 2023)
Feels like this game is finished already and was pushed due to Halo. Now Todd and team just sit around a table talking about how great it is lol. Expecting full reveal E3! Xbox strong 2nd half per usual 2022, hope to see Redfall, will get Deathloop on xbox, and Starfield. Will get a glimpse of what the 33 studios have cooking at e3 hopefully. Bethesda alone is amazing, can't believe they will soon be adding all the Activision studios.
S and X are both current gen consoles. They both play current gen games. For the whole generation.
Full MW2 and Blops2 lobbies on backwards compatability if those games hit game pass =) Gonna relive the old days
Wow, make 1 mistake and you're a liar. I played all the souls games, ratchet clank, spiderman, god of war, and horizon on my PS4 Pro. Better? No i didn't play them on youtube, nice try.
Had no effect on the point i was making which is that none of those games are new, in response to "Wow, that's cool, what new games does xbox have?"
Your question: "Wow, that's cool, what new games do they have?"
My point was to ask you the exact same question for PS5. Tell me about new games on PS5 more intriguing than Starfield and Redfall.
You never answered my question so i just asked it again.
SurgicalMenace. Xbox has Starfield and Redfall this year. What big new games does Sony have? I played demon souls, ratchet clank, spiderman, god of war, and horizon on my PS4 Pro.
Edit: if you mostly just want to play story driven 3rd person games, then yes you should've gotten a playstation because that's what they excel at. I can't be bothered with linear follow-the-story games, so for me xbox was the easy choice as they have the best shooters and the best ...
Yup i'll be shocked if this one fails though. Sony at one point was rumored to be trying for its exclusivity (before MS bought bethesda), and it feels like this game COULD have shipped this past holiday, but MS already had HALO so they pushed it to 2022. i'm expecting a very polished presentation at E3. Will see what it's all about at that time..
i dunno feels like playstation should be stealing the show right now with xbox delays. Xbox is gonna have a stacked 2023 lineup. PS5 doesn't have its Starfield equivalent yet..
