Disagree, Xbox will have way more big name exclusives that everyone knows about. Starfield, Doom, Halo, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wolfenstein, Gears, Call of Duty, Overwatch. Vs God of War, Horizon, Spiderman, The Last Of Us. Casuals, Cod players, Shooter fans, and Bethesda fans, will all be flocking to xbox. Sony will remain best at story driven 3rd person campaigns.
Thanks for the reply NotoriousWhiz, that's a really good deal as well
Well any existing agreements had to be honored, but 2022 is going to be amazing. 2021 was also great as they added their back catalogue to gamepass, a ton of great bethesda games. But 2022, STARFIELD! Redfall. We get Deathloop this fall after the 1 year timed exclusives, so glad to hear that was great by the way. Such a great time to be on xbox.
Does anyone know if the trick of converting existing XBL Gold into XB gamepass ultimate up to 36 months for ONE dollar still exists? Also, i assume i have to wait for my gamepass ultimate to expire in a few months before i can take advantage of any promotions? Thanks
I would agree, but then again i thought xbox was just getting Starfield and NOT Elder Scrolls / Fallout as xbox-pc exclusives, so i've been wrong before. The argument then was why spend 7 billion to keep the games on your competitors box, so now the argument might be why spend 69 billion to keep the games on your competitors box. It doesn't feel right, and might be anyones guess at this point what their plans are.
I feel like they'll offer a way for Playstation to have call of duty still, but Playstation might not like it. ie. Put gamepass on playstation. In that highly theoretical situation, would Playstation give their gamers their best seller game, or will then keep their pride and refuse game pass?
No, and i'm an xbox fan. However, you poke fun of someone for an entire generation and i'm not surprised they come out swinging.
I'm more curious than fearing. There's no way it stays at the price of 1 game per year forever, if they continue to provide a handful of must-play games to every user. Don't get me wrong, i'm fine with them never changing the price!
So we're gonna have Redfall, Deathloop, MW2, Starfield all coming to game pass this fall? And these are just the ones that come to mind. I'm starting to get concerned how much Game Pass sub is going to go up in price
@MrNinosan @Father_Merrin I hope COD doesn't get taken away from playstation owners that'd be brutal, but to answer your question: Redfall by Arkane studios and Starfield by Bethesda softworks both due out this year, have you been living under a rock? And no, of course there aren't currently any games released as they had to honor existing agreements at time of transaction. Y'all seriously haven't heard of a game called Starfield releasing in 10 months?
SonyStyled, Killzone2 Multiplayer is better than Halo Infinite? LMAO. Too funny!
Right on
STARS If you're into multiplayer, Halo Infinite pisses on everything Playstation has ever done and it's not even close. Sorry not everyone is into story driven campaigns. A lot of people find them quite linear and... boring.
Right, Xbox just released Halo, a known name, and likely multiplayer FPS of the year. That's not nothing.
And PS5 has? Nothing of value to multiplayer fans.
Xbox hasn't done anything new, unlike Sony 2021 best game was an old remake, and a new game that now belongs to xbox/bethesda. Lol are you hearing yourself? Next you'll say Sony is so innovative that next year we get another horizon game and another god of war game. Wooo
1 > 0
Well that's an opinion, but Fallout 4 got an 87 metacritic, and mods are keeping it alive 5-6 years later. Pretty solid game, great reveal with no delays and launched reasonably well. Deathloop which is now xbox, was enjoyed by a lot of playstation owners. Wolfenstein and Doom games were very well done, Indiana Jones on the way. I played God of War and Horizon a couple years ago on my ps4 pro, paired with TLOU2 and uncharted I've had enough of 3rd person story driven games with cl...
First time on N4G? =)
If you have to put directors cut behind all of these that says something about trying to come up with a list lol. Better luck next year, you'll need it going against Starfield, the game Sony tried to snag rights to
Don't sleep on how easy it is to optimize games for 1 console vs many many PC setups. Games run flawlessly on the Series X.
