Nobody called you a fanboy. We called the general hate for Starfield, and the majority of users on this site, as pro playstation. Most people genuinely interested in BGS single player campaigns are not trashing the Starfield reveal, sorry, but there's just not enough to go off of yet, they haven't even showed many of their RPG systems.
They’ve never had smooth shooting or top end graphics though. Would be nice to have but that’s simply not their top priority.
On this site especially, it’s got a LOT to do with the game being on Xbox and not PlayStation.
@Jin i agree, it's why there are still millions playing their games today. Something like the addition of ship building and space combat, you know someone is sinking 100+ hours just into that new aspect of the game. +40 hour campaign, +deep character building, + sidequests, +base building, +end game?, + mods. I'm not sure how you take on that much and release a bug free game. Curious how they're gonna pull half of this off.
Oh but they have no atmospheric l...
This is completely made up news. They posted a poorly worded sentence in a blog and since fixed it, and now the same blog deleted something. How does this even remotely point to a suprise Starfield trailer?? People grasping at straws to try to drum up some Starfield gameplay.
I hope they show nothing else until 2023.
@LoveSpuds they are the most mod-friendly devs on console, so in that aspect they are ahead of their time in terms of longevity of their games.
The gameplay trailer showed a nicer looking fallout but in space, i'm not sure what others are expecting. It's going to be a BGS single player campaign game with some fun new systems. It's not going to change gaming forever lol.
I can also tell you pretty much what you'll get from the next naught...
Agree and Disagree.
That's mostly a console exclusive list, any of the big hitters listed aren't coming to PS5.
And yes, they dug fairly deep on the timeline to get 24 games, so i wouldn't say "upcoming", i'd say "upcoming or known to be coming in the next 10 years" lol
They have 30+ first party dev studios, all of which.... make video games
Huh? These 24 games are console exclusives, that's the point of the article. For people that still choose 1 console (or 1 console to start out the new gen), and don't own a gaming PC.
How many of these 24 games are coming to PS5?
Gotcha. Agreed an extended gameplay would be nice to see. All I’m saying is from what I’ve seen so far I’m ready to play. I like their single player campaigns, and the ship building and space combat are 2 things I could see dumping a lot of hours into.
Doubt we will be that full gameplay reveal until closer to launch though. Redfall is going to get the spotlight as it will release first.
Um, they already showed gameplay? And plenty of it for a game 10 month away. Anyone who loves Bethesda single player games knows exactly what they’re getting - fallout/Skyrim campaign story, with base building, ship building, and space combat. Optional no man sky exploration of planets if you want to.
Sorry but I don’t understand what “once gameplay is shown” means when they did a 15 min demo already ? Can you elaborate?
Naw, most people crapping on this game have zero intention of trying it, and it’s not even their style of game. Even if the game scored a 9/10 avg metacritic they will find some reason why it sucks. Gotta bring down anything good that comes to the console they don’t own.
Joke reporting job? Starfield gameplay was never planned for Gamescom. Don’t believe all negative Starfield news you read on the internet.
In the month of lead up to Gamescom, Starfield gameplay has never been mentioned anywhere else except for 1 post. Which they corrected. Poor reporting to say they are changing plans. Starfield gameplay was never planned for Gamescom.
Yet everyone is eating this up as legit news and Starfield “changing their plans”
Annual game pass is less than full price of 2 games. To expect you'd get every single item from every game on the subscription is a bit ridiculous. Be careful what you ask for, if they were to include all add-ons you'd be paying a whole lot more than price of 2 games a year.
Agreed. DMZ and also want to see their attempt at a siege mode to see how much they've dumbed it down for the cod crowd.
Is it too much to give us a normal ELO ranked mode (bronze, silver, gold, plat, etc.) like every other competitive game? Cod Ranked modes have been terrible
100%! win for everyone involved. Particularly me as i wouldn't have paid full price for this but will definitely play it now that it's no extra charge.
@Welshy the power of game pass is that gamers can play the full game at no additional cost, lots of gamers that would maybe not try this game will try it so more people are playing the devs game, the dev gets paid by microsoft, and microsoft get paid by game pass subscribers. The dev has decided to put it on game pass nobody forced them. They are clearly getting what they feel is fair pay else they would not put it on game pass.
Oh i see - all good. Looking forward to the proper rpg reveal for starfield. probably early next year ha ha
