Enjoy this argument for another 6 months, we've already seen whats coming. Starfield and Redfall. Indiana Jones, Wolfenstein, and Doom are now xbox first party as well. Deathloop is now xbox. Add Call of Duty old and new games to the list of gamepass drops. Diablo. Avowed. Outer Worlds. State of Decay. The argument of "where are the first party games" is over in 2023 so seriously enjoy the xbox bashing while it lasts.
Fallout 76 was an MMO experiment gone wrong.
Fallout 4. 88% Xbox metacritic.
Skyrim. 96% Xbox metacritic.
Their single player quality has been fantastic.
Right but Fallout 76 was a failed MMO experiment and everyone including Bethesda realizes this now. The fact they’ve confirmed Starfield has a meaty single player campaign with new things to do, new systems in place, better graphics - that’s literally enough to be hyped if you loved Skyrim and Fallout4. So us Bethesda single-player campaign gamers…. We’re hyped.
Little to go off of? They showed 15 minutes of gameplay. It’s a Bethesda campaign that’s around 35 hours without side quests, way more dialogue, improved graphics, deep skill trees, improved base building, new ship building, new space combat, and tons of planets for modders to go crazy on. Those who have enjoyed previous Bethesda campaigns know exactly what they’re getting.
Ladders are confirmed in the game
I’m kind of addicted to re-starting new characters in their games to experiment with the best skills in each category. Their game worlds are always super detailed and fun to get lost in
xbox has historically been the shooter box, hoping they can put some new life into the cod franchise
This wasn't an announcement though, it was a random comment that was obvious to everyone already
It was also confirmed there will be another call of duty game after MW2022, i'm shocked
A lot of must have new IPs coming out on PS5 this year? Xbox has way more new IPs hitting in 2023 than PS5, so enjoy the xbox lull this year, which to be fair they filled the hole with gamepass releases this fall
Xbox has had plenty of games just not big AAA ones like Sony this year. However Starfield is much more ambitious than sequels to horizon and god of war. Xbox is bring some new games to the table and they have a jam packed 2023.. if they stay on schedule.
Same. I played BF4 recently and have to ask how a 9 year old game has WAY more destruction than the current game. Also 128 players and large maps was a huge mistake. Just kill the game already and bring all BF3&4 maps into portal please. Re-release the game with marketing as "Battlefield Portal"
I’m on series x and happy this is being remade. Fav ps4 game. Will get a ps5 eventually and this will be on huge sale by then, will be a decade since I played and would happily jump back in with a graphics upgrade!
Thank you, i had forgotten about this blunder as well. Setting the default to crossplay on and making it fairly complex to turn it off for xbox users, and then it also turns it off for all your other games. Plus, nobody is doing it so i ended up in empty lobbies even during launch and the whole first month. All this so that PC players have someone to play against. Crossplay sucks, if you can't do it right then go back to how it was a decade ago, i want to play against other xbox playe...
Correct, no Doom or Wolfenstein on Playstation
128 players was bad. Made if feel that your squads efforts didn't mean much overall
Remake BC2 / BF3 / BF4 maps in the portal engine and release it at low price. Better than attempting another new game. Win some of your fans back.
Borderlands meets Back4Blood - count me in!
@ Silly, not sure what you're trying to say, you want game pass ultimate for the price of xbox live gold? That's ridiculous the amount of full price day 1 games you get included in game pass - you don't get that for cheap. Nobody is forced to get game pass, if the value is there you subscribe. if there's a drought in games you unsubscribe like i just did a month ago. Will likely get back on game pass this fall/holiday and into 2023 when the games are flooding in.
You clearly didn't like Fallout 4 and Skyrim, or maybe you just don't like xbox. To each their own. Anyone that loved Skyrim and Fallout 4 are gonna be excited from now until when Starfield comes out no matter what the haters say. It's Bethesda's first major single player game since Fallout 4. Name a Bethesda softworks single player game that sucks, all you seem to talk about is Fallout 76.
