@rockwhynot Ya it's a great mindless co-op shooter, with surprisingly challenging difficulty. And a touch of randomness, so when you repeat missions, the tougher enemies will spawn in different spots.
Game pass, so good. Halo around the corner getting great feedback from technical tests. Xbox has always been the place to be for multiplayer =) And with Bethesda umbrella of companies pushing out single player exclusives. Completely different feel for Xbox these day...
"Damn near anyone who has an Xbox has gamepass. It's like required to play any games and they don't buy games obviously." Can't tell what is sarcasm and what isn't.
Yes a lot of users have gamepass because they've been giving great deals on it over the years to get people hooked. I got my current game pass sub for very cheap. It's up next summer and i'll decide if i'll keep it, but as long as there's 2 games over the course of...
Huh? I buy tons of games at full price, at launch. I also play some games on game pass that i wouldn't pay full price for at launch, and maybe wouldn't try at all. The article has game pass in the title, so people are posting how game pass has been good for them. You're upset about that?
Game pass is supplemental enjoyment, it's not the main course. That's the part you'd understand if you were on xbox and had gamepass
Edit: CBaoth...
Thanks to game pass I'm playing Back4Blood with friends and having a blast, a game i never would have tried or payed any money for
I fired it up a few months ago, immediately got sent on a fetch quest. Game is just a mess, they keep you doing busy work so you don't realize you're not actually accomplishing anything. Destiny 1 was somehow much better. Destiny 1 also had the choice of difficulty in the campaign missions, D2 campaign was easier than easy, designed to rush the campaign to get to the the grind, what a waste. I just feel the whole game is watered down and caters to people that just want to put in t...
Any game with fast travel at launch ha ha. The whole trucking back to camp got old fast. Should've been pull up map, fast travel, like every other open world game. The shooting was rather weak per rockstar. The game world was amazing and immersive.
Uhh you're downplaying last year as they weren't selling the Series X yet, but you're not mentioning the fact that nobody can actually BUY a Series X this year?! There's none available and the STILL beat hardware sales from last year? That's not terrible
Halo Infinite 2021 and Starfield 2022. What would be interesting is a good multiplayer exclusive from Playstation, they're non-existent
Anyone know how portal will work on console - will we have access to everyones creations? I wonder how good the interface will be to browse and participate in the various modes people create?
Fully agree, i had a lot of fun in the beta, the graphics alone have me keeping my pre order. And then I played the Vanguard beta for 10 mins, it feels like a literal copy paste with new maps, cancelled that pre order immediately.
Most games don't show gameplay 1+ year from release
Because skins = $$$, blame anyone you know who has purchased and obnoxious outfit for their character. If nobody bought them, they'd be gone.
This and the new Battlefield were my reasons for snagging a Series X in spring, when i expected Starfield in 2021. Glad to see Series S/X at the end of this video with no mention of last gen! Starfield won't be held back graphically by last gen console. Also one of my most anticipated games of all time, nobody does it quite like Bethesda in terms of experimentation and replayability with so many viable builds to choose from. I must have restarted Fallout 4 ten times just to try a new ...
A fun free halo clone, but the real deal is just around the corner now with Infinite
I think filling human spots with bots is dumb, like when PUBG implemented it out of nowhere and killed their own game. But bots are part of the hazard zone design, i don't see the problem, same thing division did, tarkov, etc - it's part of the design. I assume they are going to be easily identifiable which are bots - but given the beta i'm not so sure! Lol
Can someone just make PUBG2 already?
Great point, fully agree. I liked how specific weapons were tied to a specific class.
The 3 month old beta was playable and fun. There was no teamwork because the revive mechanic was crap, and you couldn’t even see who had what equipment on your team. Those are easy fixes. Tight squads will always dominate lone wolves
Not sure I agree with that. Coordinating with a team and pushing objectives is a whole lot of fun, I don’t need to rely on someone to throw me an ammo box to feel like we’re working as a team.
@VersusDMC, ya it's a Game Pass focused article because there's WAAAAY more users on gamepass that will use the 10-hour trial than those subbed on PS4/5 EA Play. Most PS4/5 players don't give a rip about this article since it doesn't apply to them. Most gamepass players DO care, this is great news, i get to play 7 days early!
