Doesn't bug me. They spent time developing the software they deserve my money.
Day one... I buy all the tables.
Bungie/Activision should've known better. By approaching the marketing for this game this way Bungie/Activision are saying, "We take XB fans for granted, and PS fans are more important to us".
They are putting out a new IP and if they want to sell as many copies of that IP as possible on both platforms they should've given both platforms the exact same treatment.
I applaud developers like CD Projekt RED who have a AAA game like Witcher 3 ...
Wow. Some people take this stuff very seriously.
I rate companies by their actions, not their executive comments.
MS has shown their commitment to gamers and XB especially over the past 6 months. First, they appointed a gamer the head of their division. MS's E3 had just as many games and new IPs as Sony. I see no reason to panic unless they show that they are not in this for gamer's going forward. They have done many changes over the past year (...
I don't think there is any reason to panic.
First, he has stated that XB contributes important innovations to MS core businesses in his strategy memo.
Second, XB is probably MS' best connection with non-business consumers. So, dropping XB would probably not be an option unless they abandon their entire consumer lines.
Third, I don't really care if they sell XB or not. If they do I expect the buyer to continue to move it forwar...
It's obviously a slow summer and the gaming media is running out of things to complain about with Microsoft.
4k is a red herring.
Can't wait!
Wolfenstein is brilliant. I'd rather see a great and complete single player game like they did then have tacked on multi-player.
GTA V and Online was perfectly fine. But, it was the end of the console cycle so they were pushing the hardware to the max.
Watch Dogs was a case of a game that set expectation too high and didn't live up to them.
BF4 deserved a delay. Titanfall should've been delayed to get a deeper campaign (If you ...
I used to pre-order games all the time.
Then, I started buying games digitally to avoid midnight line-ups and the storage required for physical games.
If pre-orders are delivered digitally for gaming at midnight on launch day then I might start pre-ordering again. For me, the game has to be playable at midnight for digital pre-ordering to work. Or it has to include perks that are desirable.
I have played both the old DmC's and the reboot.
They are both really good games.
I did prefer the old games from an art and environment point of view though. DmC 4 had especially strong art and environment.
I felt the reboot lacked the character and flair of previous DmCs. It felt generic instead of distinctive.
This is my most anticipated exclusive game this holiday season!
The first Horizon was awesome, this one just looks amazing!
People have to realize that each device has a purpose. And each device has pros and cons. One is not better than the other, they just appeal to different audiences.
The PC is always upgradeable and expandable with all the latest GPU and hardware innovations happening. This makes it ideal for cutting edge games. Also, the PC is the place where almost every game is coded/created whether it be a PC game, console game, or mobile game. The issue with PC gaming is that it is m...
I look through the comments and see the same old tired arguments...
Sony Fanboys: The PS4 is technically superior and resolution and framerates have been higher on the device...
XBox Fanboys: We don't care, the naked eye can't pick it up.
Newsflash everyone... Both fanboys are correct. The PS4 is technically superior but to the naked eye the differences don't matter much when you are actually playing the games.
Nobody makes significant money on hardware.
Money is made on tied services and software always.
Sony has really nailed their marketing and adjusted it based on gamer's feelings and Microsoft's actions...
They took advantage of gamer's feelings about DRM and always online. Then, they successfully re-marketed existing Indie's into consoles. Then, they took advantage of the game resolution differences in multi-platform games.
They have been riding those key points so far this generation. It will be interesting to see where they go next...
At first I thought Satya was a poor choice for CEO, but after attending Build 2014 and seeing his decision-making and comments since, I have grown to really like his straight forward and pragmatic approach to Microsoft. He is erasing a lot of the politics and replacing them with action.
As ony was last generation....

I don't know what the issue is... It's not like the vast majority of console gamers are game developers.
If you want a development kit system go buy a PC and make PC games. That is the best environment for development anyhow.
@sinspirit
So, you know for a fact that it is processed on the console and then uploaded?
How do you know that for certain?
What because MGS had a similar feature? LOL...
Oh... Here is the link that explains how Drivatars work...

I know a lot of fanboys won't look at X1 objectively but if you look at X1 since its little fiasco of announcements and changes last summer they have done a great job of turning it around and re-focusing on gamers...
The dashboard updates have been full of quality and quantity... In particular being able to put marketplace content on an external drive, Skype snapping, and the new achievement snap app are huge for gamers.
Also, on games content. Yes, ther...
