DMC3 is better than part 1 in every single way. Every aspect of the gameplay were improved over the original and the difficulty was no more an issue than the first game imo. There are so many other games that could have been put on a list like this in its place. Ninja Gaiden 2, No More Heroes 2, Final Fantasy X-2... rofl

I think you should use DMC2 more as a comparison to mediocre gameplay than DMC4. The gameplay in DMC4 is still on par with any action game that comes out today. DMC2 was just pure garbage in those terms.
Pretty decent list. Vanquish and Darksiders have been in my library since release. But seriously, there aren't any good new games during the summer? Infamous 2, Shadows of the Damned, Dungeon Siege 3, Deus Ex etc etc... this summer has been pretty damn decent for games imo.
It looks like a decent game. I'm on the fence about picking it up, and from the videos and everything i've seen, a 7 is probably the fairest score anyone has given it so far. I can't look at the gameplay and honestly think it deserves a 9, no matter how much of a fan I am of suda 51 and Shinji Mikami. The mechanics are dated and the graphics are average... the style and humor is what's gonna make or break this game for people, and those are very aquired tastes in this title.

You're insane if you think everyone hated the game just because you did. Believe it or not, a lot of people enjoyed it. Square said they'd make a sequel if the demand was high enough, and apparently it was.

It's capcom's fault for making costumes only available as dlc you pay for, rather than just being unlockable through playing the game.

I couldn't really get past the demo for Yakuza 3. I should probably give it another chance one of these days though. I hear a lot of good things.
You're not the only one that thinks that. Bruce Campbell is a definite shoe in for Sully. I can't think of anyone else that could pull that role off better. But it'd be a waste in this film with the way it's looking :\

Yeah very true about lack of replay value, but the same can be said about every Final Fantasy game. Once you're done, you're done.
The story wasn't the best, and a bit hard to follow at some points. But the actual characters were very well rounded in my opinion and had excellent development, which other games have lacked in the past.
Troll article. Of course games that aren't out yet and that are on PC look better than a ps3 game that came out 2 years ago. Just trying to get sony fans stirred up.
