I wouldn't exactly call Bethesda a trusted developer... Sure they're games are huge but they also have more bugs than pretty much every other game released in the same year combined when launched. I'm hoping they learn from past mistakes and release a finished product, but so many fanboys give bethesda a free pass just because they make their favorite series.
@Nite
Pretty sure ZOE is an actual mech game, since you control a mech and fight other mechs, or "orbital frames". It's more of a fast paced action game and not a sim like mechwarrior, but still a mech game, and a damn fine one at that.
Armored Core series.
You do know that Rocksteady didn't develop the last Arkham game, right? They handed it off to another team while they've been working on this title.
It would be nice of this was a hint at a sequel...but GoW Ascension exists. The 4 symbols could very well be representing 1-3 and Ascension.
Nier is definitely unique, but the acting is pretty terrible. I never played Planescape. Xenogears is my favorite rpg from that era, but I've come to find that many of those great rpgs from a decade or more ago are a little hard to digest now, as far as plot and dialogue. Like the reality can't hold a candle to the memories. I haven't went back and played Xeno in quite a while just because I don't want to tarnish my memories of it lol. New Vegas was a great game, but it allows...
It's easy for someone to critique a games plot as "generic", with "amateur writing" and "pathetic voicework" all day long... but if you're being that critical, I'd like to know what games aren't generic and badly written? Especially in the rpg genre.
The weekly strike this week IS one of the original strikes.
@Death
It would make sense if the weekly and nightfall were from the new dlc content... but the weekly this week is old russia, and it's locked out for everyone without the dlc. It's very poor business practice to take away content or access that was given at the original price of admission. I guess it's fine for the people who are still 100% enjoying their Destiny experience and were getting the dlc regardless. But for many, this is just another nail in the coffi...
Except he never actually stated the campaign was terrible... and comparing it to Destiny reviews where that game got pretty much 7s all across the board while this gets 8-9s aside from this one site is a little bit different. Either way, people should stop trying to see these reviews as absolutes. A 6 doesn't mean the end of the world nor does it mean a game is total crap. It could just possibly be that it wasn't the reviewers cup of tea.
Just...no.
Except Lords of Shadow is a reboot of the series, so what happened in previous games hold no bearing on the story in this one really.
You never have to wait as long on xbl for something you want because it never has anything you want.
Web of Shadows should be on here.
I feel like you really love shooters lol. But yeah PS3 has had a huge lineup of amazing exclusives, and great third party titles. Demon's/Dark Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, Heavy Rain, Batman Arkham games, Vanquish, and the list goes on and on...
Sooo, you call this game garbage and say it takes a crap all over MGS canon, yet have the new Dante has your avatar? lmao riiight. As I stated before, the game isn't a stealth game...so what's your point in saying Ac!d has better stealth? Rising is a pure over the top action game. And the game takes place some time after the events of MGS4 anyway, the canon of MGS isn't really touched there.
And it doesn't look like a samurai at all, lol ruffles coming out of the sleeves, and it's pretty obvious that's not a samurai sword on his belt. And the artwork kinda gives it away as pirate themed. Sorry bro :(
Kinda dumb to put it in comparison to the MGS franchise...That was kind of the whole point of them taking the "Solid" out of the title. If you're looking for a tactical espionage game, you shouldn't be playing Metal Gear Rising honestly.
lol with an 8.75 for the score...I don't really think it means those aspects of the game are complete garbage. It just means they could be a little better.
I didn't know there was such a huge library of JRPG's on ps4 in the US that make it a major selling point O_o. Especially any AAA titles in that genre.
