The AC collection is actually an "Ezio collection" so part 1 isn't really necessary. And AC1 kinda sucks in comparison to the others...
But yeah, this collection is pretty silly.
wtf is going on with all these FF bashing articles lately? Okay we get it, alot of people are unhappy with the series now. If you hate them, don't buy them. Easy fix.
Man it took a minute for me to decipher your code right there. And I'm not in "da nyle", the game did very well for the little marketing it got. And Valkyria Chronicles is a great game. I'd say it's one of the best games released this gen. If you think it's bad, that's your opinion. But I doubt you even like rpg's if you think it sucks lol.
LOL Valkyria Chronicles didn't die. Anyone who played it absolutely loves it. It sold a decent amount for flying in under the radar like it did. And 360 isn't exactly known for having a huge jrpg and strategy rpg fanbase.
Awesome list. I'd take off The Orange Box, and put Armored Core: For Answer in its place, though. Loved that game lol.
I have played the original to a great extent, as a matter of fact. I probably put more time into the MP than any other shooter I've played this gen. And cover would not benefit much or hurt the multiplayer aspect of the game, because of how fast paced it is. People that would rely heavily on cover would get punished fast. But in the single player, it would only be an improvement. I never said it was a game breaker that it's not present, I just think it's weird to be absent from a...
lol insults for stating an opinion. I guess it makes you feel cool on the internet. And how would using cover hurt the game exactly? Like I said, the enemies in single player even cling to walls, so it just feels a bit out of place that you can't do the same.
The lack of a cover system in a 3rd person shooter is a little ridiculous imo. Especially for a sequel that should look for ways to improve on the original. You could argue that giant robots don't have the need to use cover or whatever, but the enemies don't have any problem using it.
Agreed. And on a side note, it's kinda funny that the writer totally left out Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw. I guess it's okay for a barely legal cheerleader/zombie hunter to show cleavage, but not a succubus. lol?
Some of the picks make sense, but others don't really need to be on this list. Catwoman isn't nearly as obnoxiously exaggerated as the majority of the list, and the unlockable Sheva costume is totally optional. And yeah Morrigan is supposed to be seductive because shes a succubus of course. She can't help it if she's good at her job lol.
Trying to get hits for an outdated article lol. It's debatable if AC is better or worse than AA, but either way a 6.5 is a joke.
Wow over 1000 degrees...really? Sad day for gaming news.
sounds like someone loves activision bending them over and raping them. why would anyone defend the fact that they are taking advantage of gamers and charging more money for a rehashed pos game thats released every year. not to mention that the majority of the content offered in the elite package is shit that has been standard in current and past fps titles. grow a pair and realize that, and stop giving them your money for this crap.
Yeah it has a unique style... but gameplay and production value are total crap. Especially for $60.
Snake should definitely be on here. Sam from Vanquish and Gabriel from Lords of Shadow are also both a bit more badass than half the others on the list.
No Xenogears? wtf!
lol what a bunch of idiots. It's not a secret that DMC fans want to like a new game with the DMC title. Too bad Ninja Theory and Capcom are making it pretty fucking hard to like the new Dante.
Onimusha 3 was the weakest of the series imo. The pinnacle of action on ps2 is between DMC3 and ZOE2, hands down.
No El Shaddai is a $60 game, though it should be a psn/xbl title. the demo was garbage.
Borderlands 2 pretty much delivered and improved over the first game in every way. There's more diverse weapons, skill trees, mods/grenades/etc. There's actually a story worth paying attention to this time around, and the characters from the original game are given personality, which is pretty awesome to see. And farmable bosses prior to any dlc. It's a very worth sequel imo.
