I don't think any of it looks more difficult than DMC5's Platinum tbh.
Yep, I like how in the article in the second or third paragraph they finally say spoiler warning.
Uh...spoiler?
Lol so give GameStop your money instead?
The in-game store is cosmetic only items. The loot that drops in the game is not. Not saying that won't change at some point, but they have stated before that there mt stuff will strictly be cosmetic.
What about DmC over 1? Rofl
It's a bit unfair to say you're disappointed with something that you didn't actually play, I would think. Andromeda doesn't live up to the original trilogy sure, but it was still a decent game. A bad Mass effect entry can be better than half of the rest of the crap that comes down the line these days.
Just way too many bandwagon haters with this game. I'm having a good time with it so far. Gameplay is solid, graphics are great, the NPCs have interesting things to say at times even. Sure it's not perfect and isn't for everyone, but all these ridiculous articles are painting the game in a much worse light than necessary.
PvP in a looter shooter isn't always a great idea. They'd constantly be nerfing or reworking abilities for the sake of balance. I'm sure all the Destiny players can chime in on how much they love with their favorite hard earned gun gets nerfed into the ground.
Stupid thing is about most of the people complaining about nothing to do in the game or that it's boring are the same people that spent 60+ hours in it in less than a week in a rush to get max level, etc...
@Sonic
I dunno, I liked Lament a decent amount back in its time. I'm pretty sure it doesn't hold up well, though. Some games are better left as memories lol.
@Segata
You're right I did forget about Rygar! You could probably even throw the original Onimusha in there as well, since it had some similarities to them too.
God of war kinda borrowed a lot from Castlevania: Lament of Innocence and the first DMC on PS2 first for many of its mechanics. Not a bad thing, just the original GoW gets too much credit like it was the pioneer of 3D action games.
#6 The Mary Sue Know-it-all is a pretty far reach imo for a stereotype. And saying Triss falls in that makes it sound like the author never played the Witcher all the way through.
It is repetitive, especially after a year and some change since launch...but do people really think the Division won't get stale as well? I doubt it will survive as long tbh.
It's a difficult argument to say Witcher doesn't deserve to be in the running for GOTY, when Skyrim won GOTY the year it launched... and we all know which game had more problems at launch.
I don't see why this is such a big controversy. Keep your old systems if you want to play old games. Current gen systems should focus on current gen games O_o. Using the BC feature on older systems has never been more than a novelty really, or a means to kill time at the launch period of the system while waiting for decent games for it.
GOAT = Greatest of all time :) it applies to anything that can have a ranking system lol.
I'm pretty sure that's why bungie always insisted not to call Destiny a full blown MMO. Because it's not really a fair comparison in terms of how they are structured. Most of the bigger MMO's, such as WoW, have a ton of content, but also a monthly fee. The expansions add much more additional content as well, but it's not like it's free either, and they are released much farther apart than the dlc expansions in Destiny. Comparing them just really doesn't do either o...
It's a good value as far as content goes...but it's starting to get really difficult to justify full price or even close to full price for all these "remasters" that keep coming down the line. With a current gen system and 40 bucks in hand, I could think of a few better options for game purchases than a last gen game. But that's just me.
The problem with that statement is it's hard to judge how much replay value you can get out of a 10 hour game vs a 100 hour game. Alot of people are more likely to replay a 10 hour game multiple times and get a hundred or more hours total out of it, as opposed to playing the longer games one time through and never again, possibly not even finishing it.
