It's nostalgia fueling it for alot of people. The idea of going back to the game in it's original form sounds like it could be a nice change right now compared to how the game is in its current state. But I bet that nostalgia will turn into annoyance pretty fast for most people that played vanilla back in the day. It's such a grind and most people don't have the same amount of time to be able to commit to something like that as they did 15 years ago or whatever.

An easy mode would have hurt the gameplay more than anything I think. The combat is so brutal and engaging. It's what really made Sekiro stand out as being one of the best this year, if not THE best.
Lol I actually came in here just to see if it was an IGN article.
Seriously, people are getting all up on their soapbox about this when they only know as much about the story as the media has released. And every article is either spun in favor of the youtuber, or defending Take-Two. Either way it doesn't make me want to boycott one of the most anticipated games of the gen over a silly dispute. Let them sort out the legalities of it and just enjoy being a gamer ffs...
Lol yeah because I'm sure all the games you do buy only come from companies with upstanding and respectable CEO's.
I dunno about anyone else, but I've still got my fingers crossed that StarCraft Ghost will resurface one day.
It was a fun game. A bit different from the first two, but it's definitely worth giving a try. It sucks how most people see review scores of 6s and 7s and don't even give it a second glance.
I'd say add the hunter from Bloodborne on here. No good outcome for those guys.
Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising were some of the best over the top action games ever made imo. I keep hoping for a Vanquish sequel but I don't think it did great sales, unfortunately :(
@Corndog
Yeah he was my favorite to use in X-Men Legends and he was awesome in Marvel Heroes when that game first launched as well. His ultimate cleared whole screens lol then little by little they nerfed him into the ground with updates :(
From what I've played of the game so far, it's pretty fun. If you're a marvel fan you'll love it. The only real complaint I can come up with is the camera can get a little wonky at times, but it's nothing game breaking. Switch has a crazy summer lineup and this is a strong start.
The game that keeps on giving. Probably my pick for GOTY this year!
Bloodstained is worth every penny imo.
Lol cool lol.
Vanquish!!!
Lol I know it's too early to actually say, but Jedi: Fallen Order and GOTY contender just don't seem like they go together.
I backed this game so long ago that by the time it was near release, I semi lost interest in it. After I finally got it in the mail and played it however, it reignited my love for these type of games. Iga delivered in full with this game, and I probably had more fun with it than most other releases so far this year. It actually had me hyped to get home from work ASAP to pop it in, which doesn't happen with many games anymore these days. Played through it 3 times and and got the Platinum, ...
This game had potential, but is very bare bones in content and variety. 4 dungeons total that you repeat about a dozen times each for the campaign, then the endgame grind is just doing the same things but without the pretext of the story to go with it lol. The game really should've released at no more than 29.99 in its current state.
No offense to bloodborne and it's gameplay, but sekiro has phenomenal combat. I wouldn't want to change it at all.
@Swiftfox
Oh I agree and the game was imo, in a much better state back during vanilla and burning crusade. I have alot of fond memories playing it during that time, so I'm going to give it a go and see how I feel about it now. I just know as far as the end game raiding is concerned, I'm not able to really schedule around a guild raid time like I was back then. Vanilla WOW at the time was actually more fun in the journey of getting to level 60 and enjoying the conten...
