But it's being remade from the ground up, while keeping most of the characters and setting and core concept ideas in place. It's not being reimagined as resident evil the musical or a totally different vision. Also the developers chose to call it a remake, so I feel like they're entitled to that.
They probably just mean they had to alter their behavior and difficulty to fit the new style of gameplay. Slow tank controls and fixed camera angles back then made hunters harder than they would be with full control of the camera and aiming. They gotta do something to make them more aggressive and challenging.
So because you stopped playing borderlands 3, or maybe never did... That means it's dead? If that's the case then destiny 2 has been dead to me for over a year lol.
In any case, borderlands 3 still is quite active and so far with 0 microtransactions. New dlc is dropping this upcoming week as well, with more on the way. I'd say it's a bit far off from being dead.
Vanquish was a very underrated gem of last gen. It really is hands down my top action game in a very long time. I actually hooked up my PS3 a month or so back just to play it again, and I'll be itching to play it again in Feb on PS4. Challenge 6 is definitely a satisfying accomplishment to beat in this game.
So much coverage for the fighting game, but hardly no new updates on the RPG :(
Promotion expired?
Hopefully they won't focus too much on making the pvp very competitive and serious, otherwise the balancing on skills, specs, and gear can get overly aggressive and hurt the single player.
Fighting games are getting ridiculous with season after season pass for 3-4 characters each. I miss the days of just unlocking characters and costumes through playing.
Yeah most of these games are better left out of the nominees. Jedi fallen order is fun and I'm enjoying it right now, but any category it could fit in has better nominees already.
The game feels more like Sekiro, though much easier, mixed with the Tomb raider reboot series more than any of those other games tbh. It's a fun game, and certainly the best Star Wars game we've gotten in recent years. My only gripe is I'm not a fan of Cameron Monahan being the main character.
More detail is great and all.... But how about trying to hit a steady fps on consoles as a priority first.
Honestly I'd be surprised if they finish all the parts before the end of next gen. I hope it doesn't take that long, but waiting for square to release a major title makes a person a bit pessimistic.
You guys will get it at some point probably. It might be a few years later though 😅
Majority of people that buy this game or anything else from EA doesn't even keep up with all the bad things EA does. Hell, most people don't even know the difference between "published by" and "developed by" EA. This game will do decent sales just from the Star Wars brand alone though. I just hope it does well enough to make EA realize that quality single player games have a place and don't need to be bogged down by mtx or other stupid, greedy business models. ...
Man that's a bit of a spoiler to just be a headline. Glad I already got to that point in the game but some people might have wanted it to be a surprise.
How is this game getting a couple decent review scores? Looks horrible imo.
Legend of dragoon and Xenogears all the way.
That's not what the mass market in Japan cares about.
I dunno if you can really say it's false. You bought the game (blindly if not looking at trailers and gameplay) for one reason or another. I would assume because it's a Kojima game, but even in doing that, you have the assumption that you'll like the game just because it's Kojima. Not saying that's a bad thing or whatever, but so many scores and opinions of this game are swayed in either direction just because of that that it's practically impossible to go by reviews. ...
@Speak
He didn't say Sony is better at pricing, he said they know price point is important, because of their rocky sales at the start of the PS3 gen and other blunders. 600 at the time was a bit high but at the same time, it was a Blu-ray player which were also new at the time and not cheap.
Realistically it's a bit ridiculous to expect the new consoles to be less than 400 at launch with the specs. I honestly wouldn't mind it being 600, but g...
