Man I know it's not the most popular opinion, but I really enjoyed the MP mode in Ascension, I kinda wish they'd do something like that again, or at least another team make a standalone project that built on that foundation. In a sea of shooters and battle royale games I think it would really stand out today.

It really did pioneer the genre. Love it or hate it, it's probably the most influential game since the shift from 2D to 3D other than maybe Mario 64.
So it wasn't innovative because it doesn't copy the same formula of every other Zelda game from OoT on up? Gotcha.
People can love or hate breath of the wild for straying from the format a bit, and yeah the shrines can get pretty repetitive, but there's no denying that there was alot of thought and depth put into how much freedom you have in the game to solve or overcome obstacles and traverse the world. Not many other games these days make you do much more than...
With that many games... Do you really need Nintendo to give you a reason to buy more? Lol

I didn't mean change how it plays or take away from the RPG elements, just make the animations smoother and the controls more responsive is what I meant.

I'd love a trilogy release on any current gen system really... And maybe a slight touch up on part 1, both graphics and gameplay. I just recently played it again on console and it was a bit rough around the edges lol.
Because like he said, it's not much more than wishful thinking at this point. Sure Microsoft has moved some pieces into the right places and SHOULD have a much more productive generation with all the acquired studios underneath them now, but until that actual you're yields results, it can't be taken as a sure thing.
You know it's funny how many fanboys will say all Sony exclusives are crap and too short, or walking simulators..etc, but now that they're getting their own linear short walking sim they boast it up to be the benchmark for next gen, all with one reveal teaser lol.
Outer worlds came out on PS4 too though... And actually sold units on there.
Pretty sure MS is paying out alot of dimes to get some of those third party games on game pass. And they're basically paying the consumer to subscribe to game pass to start off with at 1 dollar for 3 months.
So was Gears 5 and they were already offering it on game pass day 1... Jedi fallen order has been on sale and it came out after death stranding too. It's the season for game sales is all.
You know what? You're right. If I have something to say, I say it. What I don't do is complain about something over and over at every mention of a game. Hideo had a vision, he saw it though. Many people love it, and obviously you don't. Bashing the game for not being something it was never intended to be, because it's not what you wanted it to be, just looks silly over time.
