Don't forget the Destiny bundle on many websites includes Amazon dropped to 399 for a while throughout the weekend. That also claimed thousands of sales.
That is only true (hardware being outside top 5) because software effectually outstrips the hardware demand as each generation gets older. In other words, we are in the midst of a hardware upgrade cycle. People want new consoles for cheap more than games for cheap. (though obviously they aren't mutually exclusive)
I also "actually" own the game and it has improved quite a bit since launch. However, that doesn't mean it works. At launch it was almost useless. Now it works, but still is kind of broken. To wait five minutes just to connect to a session of other players is way too long, and 343 had to turn off even level matching and other fair gameplayou toggles in order to help with the matchmaking.
It's a shame because I think Halos actual core MP gameplay is much mor...
MCC is horrible until they fix the ridiculous matchmaking times. I own the game and I'm stuck of waiting ten minutes per match
I agree. I am typically a PS4 player and I went ahead and caved in to Xbox for the MCC and I am extremely disappointed. How could they botch it so badly? That being said, I'm pretty content with the Xbox itself so I'm not totally remorseful.
The Royals had not been to the playoffs in 29 years so it's not like they had any playoff experience either.
They sold off VIAO, they spun off the TV division, they moved their cell phones in a good direction with really attractive features (waterproof/PS4 Remote Play/Incredible Battery Life) and have also greatly reduced the vast number of phone models they carry in order to simplify for consumers. They have made major headwinds into the United States both with the renewed success from the PlayStation brand as well as the Xperia finally being carried by two major networks (T-Mo and Verizon), they h...
The Amazing Spiderman 2 still made a profit (albeit much less than it used to) for Sony, so why not try the Sinister Six to juice some more cash and then maybe a little more from Spiderman 3. If both of those fail, then sell it to Marvel.
The better idea, in my opinion, is one that has already been rumored which is for Sony to temporarily sell the rights to Marvel so that he can appear in Avengers 3, but Sony retains the rights to the property.
As a Sony fan,...
You guys do realize they already announced and are taking preorders for the Xperia Z3v for Verizon right? So the only carrier the phone is not technically available on is Sprint (AT&T does not market the phone, but the regular Z3 variant is fully compatible)
There is a Duck Dynasty iPhone case, you are correct in toilet paper though. I also used to love the show, they are a very genuine family regardless of the haters. However, the novelty has worn off and the newest episodes have just been boring. I don't relaly watch anymore.
Those prices also include the VAT. Although that doesn't make up for the discrepancy entirely.
Sony technically hasn't released the Xperia Z3 yet, so far as I know. It's only been announced although it is coming soon. That being said, that is unfortunate but Sony has not made any secret about their six month upgrade cycle.
They have already said All you need is a DualShock 4 controller (that you presumably already own with the PS4) and a low cost mount that you simply snap on. So the controls are better on the Xperia because you get a true PS4 controller.
Sony will not lose momentum because of some remastered Halo games. They have survived and increased their lead despite essentially a 20% price cut by their rival, plus some major games (ie Titanfall, although some argue that was a very minor flop) releasing exclusively. MCC will simply be another great software offering amongst many software offerings. Sony will be fine.
One of the only negatives of this review I agree with is the lack of local split screen. I really wanted to play this with my girlfriend. But I can see Bungies argument that it wouldn't have worked well in the more MMO style game.
Sony didn't pay for third party exclusivity in the PS1 era. Anyone who says that has zero proof. They only believe that because a game was exclusive, it therefore had to have been bought off. For anyone who understands the context of the gaming industry in that era they would know that many factors led to those PS1 exclusives such as CD or Sony's sales advantage over the N64. In fact, although the PS1 was not very revolutionary in technology, the absolute prosperity of third party dev...
The title isn't necessarily misleading. If the developer is stating that a simultaneous release is brutal than Microsofts policy of requiring indies to have a simultaneous release is brutal. That being said, I do think the initial connotation one could have from the headline is more negative than deserved.
Of course Microsoft as an official company has never said they were going to sell the brand. They never would until they were ready. But the flow of rumors have been pretty clear that it could be considered an option if the division continues to lose millions of dollars as it almost always has. And if both properties are sold off, PlayStation is more likely to survive as a brand to be taken over since they actually are making profits and Xbox is not (yet).
Console sales are not what they used to be. I don't think anyone can debate that. But you must also consider 1.) The state of the Japanese economy, which is not good, 2.) The Japanese culture is very mobile to begin with. They aren't like American or European consumers who will sit down and play COD for four hours. And 3.) The Japanese software market for console gaming has been so atrocious compared to where it was during the PS1/PS2 era, save for a few hits from the Wii U which has ...
As others have said, for only one bundle and one day sales this is very impressive. But it is also impressive that Sony accomplished this while maintaining their 399 price point and being priced 21% higher than the competition. Not to mention the insane marketing push of Xbox One and the release of Halo MCC (Despite the game being disappointing so far in some respects).
This was not an easy feat. It is very encouraging and I'm sure Sony is more than pleased with these No...
