I respectfully disagree. I loved multiplayer on Uncharted 2. (UC3 multiplayer was OK. But the maps just weren't as fun). I do agree that they should tone down the DLC though.
He was very clear that if sales fall they should cut the price. That will inevitably happen eventually. But hasn't yet. So theoretically yes if sales never fell below their expectations they wouldn't need to cut the price until PS5 ;)
But OnLive was purchased by Sony... It's fate has already been fulfilled?
The Euro use to be worth more than USD, but yes recently they have been nearly 1:1. The pound is still "worth more" though so 310 translates to much more in USD.
Btw: they were also selling the PS4 sans controller for $269
TM on PS3 wasn't bad, it just wasn't that great either. I couldn't help feeling like I was not getting a full experience/production budget out of it. I think if it had been given a full AAA budget with a different tone more like TM:B than I would have loved it.
There are some big updates to Heavy Weapons coming too, which is long overdue IMO.
Personally, I was disappointed with the single player campaigns and such but I now believe that was more an issue with what I thought the game would be versus what it actually is. The truth is I enjoy Destiny quite a bit. The online community is great, and if you haven't done strikes or especially raids with a group of friends than you really haven't experienced the best of Destiny. Still not for everyone, but its the game I have most enjoyed so far (haven't played Bloodbourne). ...
It's a little deceiving about the last PS2 game. Wide scale commercially successful games had not released on the PS2 since at least 2009. However, that was still three years after the PS3 so your point remains.
The Xbox team is doing a much better job than they were at this time last year. And even perhaps the year before that. Xbox is well positioned to remain a healthy competitor to Sony for a long time and that is a good thing.
I do want to point out that it's almost impossible for them to catch up in sales to the PS4 like Sony did with the PS3. Unlike the XB1, Sony was outselling Microsoft, outside North America, from almost the beginning with only a few gaps in between. No...
To each their own. I would take iOS and the iPhone over any Android presently available. But I understand those who disagree.
I wouldn't ever want a Samsung though. There are so many better phones out there now for Android.
It's sort of like when Hollywood makes a blockbuster. It's not always a critical or commercial success that earns it the title. (Ie, Battleship, John Carter) it's almost always a reference to the higher than average budget and production values.
As much as time splitters rocks, I don't miss free radical after the Haze debacle. I have never been so disappointed in a game.
Ill be honest I own an iPhone specifically because of the walled garden. It's not bogged down by crappy apps and its focused on what Apple can do best. (It's not perfect though, as many have noted)
I also own an Xperia Z3 because of remote play. But tbh, I always end up using my iPhone. I will never get to the point of using my iPhone for serious gaming and apps so an open garden is unnecessary for me personally.
I will never waste money on a Vita. Sony is smart to sell Gravity Rush to its PS4 customer base. Nobody cares about the Vita and its three fans. Besides, that's a mobile platform. Are you saying the DS is dying if one of its games goes to the Wii U?
Can you carry a PS4 with you on the subway?
Mediocrity is catching up to call of duty also. Sales aren't anywhere close to what they were at their peak a few years ago and they continue to trend downward.
Yeah everyone was hoping Microsoft would be taking advantage of the fact that first party developers can now create NFL licensed games (provided they pay the hefty price to acquire the licenses). Apparently, it's just going to be a rehash of All Pro Football 2k8. Lots of promise, but ultimately just an empty shell without the official NFL.
I really was hoping they would pull it off though.
Actually their last football game was in 2008, where they signed on John Elway and Jerry Rice and a few others. It was called all pro football or something like that.
I don't blame you for not remembering because it was a terrible game. Unfortunately, after EA bought out the NFL many of the 2k developers who were working on the NFL games either joined EA or moved on to other projects. So by the time they got back to trying to make a football game the magic was lost. Hope...
PS All Stars Kart? How would that even work lol. A man can dream though...
