Why is he a troll?? Because he stated a preference? I didn't see any fanboyism in what TheDivine posted, just the truth. If you have both consoles, you would know that each has pro's and cons.
Socom 4, because they took the best 3rd person tactical shooter into Micheal Bay territory and gave us the dumbest, least stealthy AI squadmates to ruin it more.
Homefront, because they told us all about this epic story that would unfold in that game, except the story was pretty much "The Koreans took us over, go there and shoot this." ... Oh, and it looks like a last-gen game, graphically.
This is one of my most anticipated games of 2012. Metro 2033 was a great game that most folks haven't even heard of, let alone played. I hope this series gets some more credit and attention with this release!

Why would someone who is a fan of modern military FPS's skip the campaign? I understand that MP is the focus and the reason for the popularity of games like these, but skipping the campaign seems downright silly to me. The developers put in time to make it, and consumers spend $60 for the whole package.
Is no one interested in the immersion of the single player experience nowadays? Sad, really..
what are the big differences between 1 bluray and 2 HD/DVD's?? I'm curious? Are you going to mention the age old "a bluray holds more information" line? I'll admit that GTA got away from it's roots with GTA 4's more serious darker tone and atmosphere, but I could not have said it was as bad as "watching paint dry."
I tend to enjoy the more realistic, brooding GTA that drove the template for all of Rockstar's 3rd person open-world games this generation. I thought it was a welcome change.

No way I could've afforded both systems near launch! my entry into this gen was a 360 pro that I bought in 2007 for around $400. And price was the deciding factor since in '07 the Ps3 was still $600. I wasn't able to call myself a dual console gamer until about a yaer ago, when a friend of mine sold me his old Ps3 fat because he had got his hands on a backwards compatible Ps3. For $100 I couldn't argue!

I think It would be a smart business move on MS's part to hold the core gamer's attention with next-gen core titles and exclusives for their next gaming system, while maintaining production of the current 360/kinect bundles to keep tabs on the casual market they've tapped into with Kinect, rather than phase out the old 360. I'm with you. I want to see something NEW for this series. When BF3 and MW3 were first announced and the hype trains kept rolling, I remember reading all these articles on N4G about MW3 was gonna feature destructible environments and large scale combat, more weapons, etc..
