I think spotting is a great feature in battlefield that encourages teamwork and discourages people camping in the same location for the duration of a match.

I'm kinda dissapointed about not having the currency system in MW3. Always enjoyed CoD multiplayer, but Black Ops MP was the one that engaged me the most because of the instant gratification of ranking up.. Of waiting to unlock your favorite gun and then outfitting it with a scope, a grip, and your favorite camo without having to get 100 headshots first.

Fair enough. Following industry trends for the reasons you state make plenty of sense, particularly following R&D trends. I was dissapointed in how GT5 turned out after all those years of waiting as well. Hopefully Forza 4 doesn't dissapoint too. Graphics do matter--they help create a sense of immersion. But we all agree it must be balanced by smooth and fun gameplay.
Stunning graphics won't save a game that plays poorly, but a game that plays well but has dated visuals always leaves more to be desired by the player.

If the Online pass issue is really the only thing holding you back from buying BF3, why not buy it new? It will be the same price as MW3, and will COME WITH your online pass... and that way you'll get all of DICE's map packs free of charge.
Base rape is the worst in BC2. They really need to implement random a spawnpoint option when all the objectives are taken by the opposing team. I think the Noobtube is great in BC2 though. It's at least as much of a tool as a weapon, since you can use it to destroy buildings and cover on the maps

Yea, I agree with you. But that's why I wouldn't want the two franchises to start to become like each other to compete for the same crowd. then we'd have two games that we'rent really true to their origins..
I dont think that GTA should do anything vastly different to compete with saints row. I really enjoy the gritty realness of the last GTA, and I'd like to see that again.
SR and GTA should exist as different experiences in the same realm, much as CoD/Battlefield or Forza/GT/Midnight club. Some players want an epic, immersive and cinematic mobster experience, others prefer over-the-top action and teabagging fallen enemies.

it was amazing. Especially playing through the campaign on co-op online with friends.. especially friends who were at a higher level than you were they could share their more powerful guns and sheilds etc.. I'll definitley be looking forward to the next game.
