I was worried a bit because I preordered BF3 for 360, but I'm not anymore. I think the reason we haven't seen or heard much about the 360 version is due to some sort of Activision/Microsoft deal. Especially where MW3 and BF3 are going head-to-head this fall and CoD, despite being a mutiplat, is really more of a 360 flagship brand.. you even see it advertised alongside Halo, Gears, and Fable as if it were an exclusive.

I think the only thing I can Fault Deus Ex for is it's awkward controls, and the fact that they are not customizable. It would be much better if the 3rd person coversystem worked more like MGS4 or Splinter cell conviction, and it would also be great if you could simply hold down a button for iron sights in 1st person view instead of having to toggle the view off and on by clicking the analog stick.
For a guy with a Big Boss avatar, you really should check out Deus Ex, sooner rather than later. Again, judging by your avatar, I'd assume your a fan of Metal Gear, and likely a fan of the Sci-Fi Stealth/Espionage genre, and Deus Ex delivers that type of gameplay in gobs :)

I think it looks amazing, but "amazing" and "mindblowing" are two different leagues of awesomeness. To me: "amazing" is this footage of UC3, "mindblowng" is the PC footage of Battlefield 3.

Wrong. MS has CoD DLC as timed exclusive. It always releases for other platforms a month or 2 following its release on 360.
And not all publishers own the rights to a real-world manufacturer that they keep exclusively for their games only. And if that was a trend in the industry, dont you think that Activision would buy the rights to weapons made my Colt and Remington, so that they can exclusively be the only publisher of FPS games that offer the M-4, M1911, and Mk17 SCA...
Never mind the 2 year delay for Splinter Cell: Conviction.. that game was supposed to release with the launch of the xbox 360...in 2005. I remember reading a Game Informer preview of it, back when I still had my ps2
I cant wait for this game! Farcry 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, despite the dodgy and overly aggressive AI. I still play that game all the time to this day.. it's one of my old reliables that I always turn to when I want to play something with a real lone wolf tactical feel. But how many of those 20 maps in MW3 will be available on day one? I would think probably only about 12 or so. I think that was about as many as MW2 and Black Ops launched with, before map pack DLC was released. Even though BF3 has less maps, if DICE keeps the same map build philosphy as BC2, each map presents a very different experience depending on the game type you play on it, especially when you figure in the destructible environments and vehichle combat.
Glad they are remaining attentive to the gun handling and ballistics. I think that's what really sets BF apart from other online FPS's. The added challenge of hitting people from range or when on the move with a weapon brings a whole new fun and realism to the game.
On the one shot snipers thing though.. I dunno about that. In BC2, I can drop an enemy from across the map with a silenced submachine gun or assault rifle, so I hope they change that mechanic if they&...
