Ok. If you over the age of 15 and are actually excited for this mod, and you enjoy looking at naked chicks made of pixels that aren't even REAL women in a fantasy RPG videogame than you are a complete loser, and probably still a virgin. You may, in fact, be Napoleon Dynamite himeself. No wait, actually even he wasn't THAT much of a sad case!
Oh, well, just my opinion. Go ahead, I'm ready for all the disagrees you socially stunted, sexually mal-developed virg...
This whole thread brings to mind that Wierd Al song "White and Nerdy" (A parody of "Ridin' Dirty" by 50-cent if you've never heard it).
'Cept not ALL black people who are American born can trace their heritage back to Afrca... one of my good friends' grandparents moved to America from Trinidad, and he HATES the term "African American" because technically, he's of Carribean ancestory. In the Part of the Country where I live (the Boston, MA area) there is a large demographic of people with black skin color, who are Haitian, Latin American, Jamaican. In America, where it's always been a melting pot of d...
Honestly, my BIGGEST issues with BF3 is that in any given team i find myself on only about one third of the team are playing for the objectives and/or are playing the role of the class they loaded out with (like dropping health or ammo for teammates, or making sure that if your an engineer and your surrounded by teammates who are assault and support that you take care of the vehichles). And lets not forget to mention how many times I've spawned into a game where my own teammates are hang...
@Vladplaya,
I thought BC2's Vietnam DLC was absolutely worth the $15 price tag. 5 maps (that IMO were quite well thought out), 5 or six new vehichles, and a whole new set of weapons for each class? C'mon that's a pretty good deal, no?
Whatever the case with DLC for BF3, my only hope is that the new weapons, gadgets, and specializations for each class have to be unlocked... i need those dopamine rewards! That was my one beef with BC2: Vietnam...
I agree with krisq. I also think that's why it sold a billion copies already in its first week of release. The masses of sheeple love it, but to hardcore gamers like us, The Call of Duty Franchise has become that awesome indie band that we were all in love with when they released thier first few albums and nobody knew who they were but the true fans. Then that band had a hit song, and subsequently sold out and got away from making the music we found meaningful when we discovered them an...
I agree. I thought Niko was a great character. He was the one GTA protagonist who's motivations were understood (well, except for 80% of the people who are posting non-sense in this thread, apparently).
Niko was motivated by revenge on a former comrade who screwed him over and left him for dead, that's why he made the journey to Liberty in the first place. Throughout the story there is dialogue where Niko Bellic reflects on wether he is making the right decisions h...
I wouldn't argue with you that BF3 has its issues.. sure there's lag, strange glitches here and there.. but overall it is a very solid multiplayer shooter.
I suppose my overall argument is that BF3 got an average review score of about 7-8.. and it completely re-vamped itself since its previous iteration Bad Company 2 and pushed consoles to their technical limits, never mind what the PC version did.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty, which also allegedly has similar i...
It was a "decent" review to you because you've already made it clear in past comments you're not a Battleifield fan.
Perhaps I might add the fact that your beloved MW3 is getting 9's for serving consumers last months frozen leftovers is complete bullsh*t. I think a decent review of that game would equate to a 6.5 as well..
What's so bad about the 2nd chance perk? Only thing that ever botherd me about it was that in past CoD's other players could easily steal your kill that way. Other than that, I never thought it was a big deal... it required skill to use, as you had to be quick and proficient with a pistol to be effective with it.
It seems as though all anyone wants to do when it comes to discussing competitive online FPS games is complain about "overpowered" weapons, campi...
I dont think it will delay the release of next gen consoles. And I think that's a good thing because we'll still need a wealth of quality games to release for the current gen of consoles, even once the next generation consoles are available to the public. Especially because if history repeats itself for a third time, the first year or two of a consoles release often sees a high premium retail price (i believe the 360 and ps3 launched at $499 and $599 respectivley), and only a handfu...
You actually cant change your auto-renewal status through the xbox website.. The ONLY way to cancel auto-renew was to physically call xbox live support...that was the whole absurdity of it.
Xbox forums are abound with horror stories of gamers calling customer support to turn off auto-renew of their subscription to no avail.. there were times where you couldn't get a human on the phone, and there were instances where people finally did get a service rep on the line, al...
7/10 is a pretty good score... but "space Marine" has to be the worst, most generic title of a video game ever.. it sounds like a fictional toy/game from Toy Stoy or something..
Nevermind the setting of the game, How bout a new game engine and some new gameplay mechanics? I'll tthrow two of my ideas out there, of how I would improve the next CoD if I were a developer at Treyarch:
1. how bout some sort of melee combat system to go along with the shooting? And by that I don't mean the current "click-on-the-stick" knifing melee, or the on-rails button-prompting quick time CQC fights that occur throughout the BF3 campaign. I mean an ...
Yea, as much as I'm loving BF3 at the moment I have the same complaint. I know BC2 was a little bit unrealistic because you could level whole buildings with underslung grenade launchers and rockets, but it was one of the cornerstones of BF playstyle. There was something very tactical about taking down the buildings that all the snipers would camp in.. not to mention satisfying.
Perhaps they will do an update/patch that will implement whatever enhanced destruction they&...
Another thing that drives me crazy is that it seems to be impossible for my party/squad to all get placed on the same side of a team. I have two frieds who also play BF3, and when we squad up in the menu, usually the squad is split up and one squad member will be placed on the opposite team.. Kinda silly since we're all in the same party and can only comunicate with each other. takes away the teamwork aspect and it needs to be fixed.
Yes, I dont think you can request health/ammo in BF3.. or it's just broken atm.. I remember in BC2 you could put your croshairs over a friendly and hit the select/back button to request ammo, health, or even a ride if they were in a vehichle.
What do you expect from the same consumer culture that popularized "Jersey Shore" and made celebrity icons out of a crew of drunken skanks and illiterate 'roid-raging meat-heads? Obviously they eat up mediocrity like it was chocolate cake... all for the sake of attaining the status quo of "it's popular."
@ Kos-Mos,
If you think that Battlefield 3 is not complex, then you must be that guy on my team who's not marking enemies, who's not capping/defending the objectives from a concealed or defensive position, who's not using their load out class to it's designated role, and who equips the flashlight/laser sight, but doesn't switch it off so as not to blind thier own teammates. You must be the guy on my team who's running around a map the size of Texas, doing bu...
