SO then Red Box it is I guess. Electricity does not take vacations. I would also be interested to see your take on all digital media once time warner gets their way and starts doing tiered data plans and download caps. You might not be so snarky then. The above is why all digital will not work in it's current state, especially if you have steam!
These things don't happen in other countries. Other countries have access to the same videogames the us does. Therefore videogames cannot be the cause. Rather it is the american culture and the news media which is the root of the problem. Our media treats these people like celebrities and until they stop doing that these things will continue to happen exclusively in the us. Pathetic and sad.
Good one, not.
almost as hard as your grammar.
Millions of people bought played and enjoyed bs1. Those same people already know how unique this game is. They don't need to sell you on the product. They want the cod crowd to give it a shot. They figured all activision does is slap a new number on a box and boom, millions of sales. So they already have you and I in their pockets, its the people that buy yearly releases and are satisfied with them they are reaching out to because they figure it has fire and guns on the cover so at ...
People seriously have an issue with this. We don't play the box cover, we play the game. If people can't get past a piece of pr that is meant to appeal to a wider audience and entice people to buy it then they must miss out on a lot of cool things. Kevin Levine is making this game, it has not been rushed and there is no tacked on crap mp, its all focused on the sp. I mean I don't sit there and look at a box cover and judge it on that, that is ridiculous.
What issues would those be? Are you saying you did not think DMC 3 had good combat?
DMC 1 is my all time favorite video game ever. The cheesy dialogue, over the top action, the athestics, all the insane difficulties of which I beat everyone and still have the save on my ps3 fatty to prove it all make up in my mind one of the most pioneering bad ass action games ever. Having said all that I hated the new DMC when it was first announced, but then I got to play the demo. I must say changing the controls the way they did and going with a sub 60fps were huge risks, but the pud...
Ummmmm, Onimusha 3 was set in Europe for part of the game and it was a really good game. So yeah...
Final product will have more difficulty levels, DMC is my favorite game of all time and I beat it on dante must die mode back in the day. Having said that I found the combat refreshing and tight. I had fears of the easiness as well, but then I saw all the different levels NT is offering for newcomers and veterans in the final game. Have patience, I hated this game when I saw the first trailer, but the gameplay is pretty cool and I don't miss the 60fps..yet. I'm actually looking fo...
@decrypt
What about the instant game library of full retail games that are still very relevant you get worth a couple hundred dollars for a one time payment of 50 bucks. My ps3 is only two hundred right now and a decent pc costs about 500 which you will need to play any relevant games off those sites you mentioned. I love steam too but ps+ is awesome and far from a rip off. Please learn some math before trying to promote your preferences because obviously you are that much...
@violents
If you read my comment it stated they could look online for console screen shots. Logic says if you type in the phrase console pics of in game footage for said game it will appear. As far as the bar being low on their system the answer is not everyone has a lot of money. Maybe their PC is able to make some games look better than it's console counterpart, while others look better on their console. I'm sorry to disagree but your comment oozes negativity.
@violents and not ninjahunter:
It is so people can see the graphics at different settings and then determine if they can tolerate the fidelity based on their personal tastes. Then based on that make a purchase. Also, the PC version is currently 44.50 on pre-order via digital download. Some people have a PC and a console. This way they can decide which will be better for them and do a cost comparison / visual analysis based on pictures from the internet for the console. Why...
For 250 you get a system 4GB memory card and a full game. That seems pretty good.
I would agree from a hardware standpoint, however Sony bought Gaiki, remember? So that solves that.
Yes, how dare they take source material and make it a little different for their game. How dare they not be historically accurate and provide a history lesson while being a VIDEO GAME at the same time. You do realize jumping into a hay bail from 10 stories up would kill you correct? Oh, but it's okay to ignore that fact. Also the "emo" hoodie you are referring to was in the original AC which by your own statement you adored. I don't get people sometimes.
2 million = very few? I don't get it.
A solution for your #3 issue. Look online and there is a download you can get for taking 360 controller settings and putting them onto any other controller with similar buttons like a logictech gamepad. I can't remember the name but just google 360 control mapper and it will come up. All you have to do is cut and past 3 files into your game files on steam and your gamepad will come up a 360 controller. No mapping needed. I use it and it works flawlessly, the only game it won't wo...
Man that is harsh, the headline could have just said it should not be named RE.
They can't file suit, no one is saying they can't sell the game. It's just that said game won't work if they do. Also before playing a game there will be a new terms and conditions use which you must agree to in order to use the product. There are legal ways around this and the lawsuits will be tossed based on people's ignorance to terms they agreed to. Do I like it, not really, but what can anyone do really?
