Wait, your saying Dead Space 1 was never really survival horror? Please defend this stance with examples.
If you consider taking a screw driver and loosening about 6 screws a hassle I really don't know what to tell you. What do you do when you have to turn a door know or switch on a light in a room?
@dcboyc310
But that is what you are not getting. It is not a stand alone product. It is the culmination of the previous 5 titles and those simply cannot be ignored. Read my analogy and think again. Wouldn't you be pissed if you asked for a meat ball sub from your favorite restaurant and when your food comes you get roast beef? That is not at all what you have come to expect or want. RE6 is not a stand alone product, it simply does not fit the definition.
I agree with you to an extent, but this is a special case. For instance, say Chevy came out with a new truck. A lot of promises were made about this particular truck and based on that and it's brand history people have expectations. Then the day the truck is unveiled and consumable for the public you go and pick it up. Come to find out you can't do any of the things you had hoped for, all based on past brand experience. You can't do these things because the truck is only a 4 ...
"The new J’avo zombie can use guns, but regular zombies will just have melee weapons."
That's a quote from the article so I don't get your comment. Did you read it?
I see your point, but you failed to mention Kojima said the PC he was using had similar hardware specs to the PS3. Normally I would agree with you, but this is Kojima we are talking about and he is a perfectionist when it comes to his games. If he says it will be similar this is the one person in the industry I would believe and no one else. His past record proves this for me at least. I have a hard time believing he would compromise his product by using the compression he would have to u...
So because you failed to look before buying it's their fault. Also, they went the extra step of looking up the ad, not all big business communicate very well not to mention there is always an * stating participation and location may vary. Entitlement is a terrible problem with this society.
It's a King James verse from the bible, Hunger games may have quoted it but that quote was the most well written part of those books. Not knocking them, they just are very simply written.
I think you are severely short changing the developer by claiming there was no effort put into this. The EVE universe is player controlled down to the pennies of an economic system. It is so complex and different that there is nothing else out there like it. Dust514 takes all the inner workings of the EVE universe and allows individuals to become part of an ecosystem completely controlled by it's players. Not to mention CS:GO is a completely different take on the FPS. Sure the genera...
Um, isn't wow an MMO?
Didn't super smash brothers "rip off" power stone?
We have the 2nd amendment to keep the government in check. Imagine if there was no 2nd amendment. Our society would be a totalitarian society and the people would have even less say than they do now. A healthy dose of fear keeps the powerful in check. Besides, I have never heard of a gun killing people. As far as I know gun deaths are always caused by the user, even if it's an accident.
@SleazyChimp
"I just got screwed edition." that made my day thank you.
Why all the secrecy? Tell me what to expect so I can decide if I want to invest and start saving. It's very telling that they just won't come out with it, unless it's not decided at this point, but that can't be with the release window given.
It's N4G, you get disagrees for breathing.
Good work on nitpicking something others are fans of just to prove you are not a fan. Brilliant sir, just brilliant!
Or he's like my wife and will startle awake if a pin drops in the next state, I can relate ARIjayden only if through my wife's superman ears, her nose is pretty good too. She always warns me I could never get away with cheating and I believe it.
Yes and it's annoying. Much like movie executives think that making a movie rated pg-13 when all of it's source material is a hard R will cause more people to see the movie. This simply is not true. They never learn and I can't believe executives still get to have a say about how movies and games should go. Did you know after the TDK premier a movie executive started talking to one of the writers about what HE wanted for the next villain and he said he wanted Dicaprio as the R...
Right, as in they were not ready yet. Why is that so hard to understand? Just because one of the largest expos is coming up does not mean all dead lines will be met. Would you rather see crappy footage of an unfinished product and pan it, or wait and see something the developers are truly ready to show? Not to mention Ubisoft is not Sony, they run their own ship. If images were shown people would just dismiss it and call the Vita a failure based on unfinished work. Sony is smart and kne...
@TheRealSpy
I see your mistake. Games are made too easy nowadays. Play it on the hardest setting and then try and state those claims. That's the way games still should be, but unfortunately gaming going mainstream has simplified many games, which is why I always play them on the hardest setting ( the way gaming used to be).
