Actually, the grinding aspect and that type of hook is what the author is referring to. I did not buy destiny, but I played it and my friend loves it because of the upgrades and grinding. I recommended Bloodborne to him BC it felt like a similar concept. You missed the point of the article BC you dislike destiny.
