First, I don't own destiny, but I have been reading and waiting because I am certainly interested. From what I gather the weapons will be put to level 300, so they retain their damage and what not. However, does that mean that the dart rounds mentioned above would be lost and the gun essentially reset to zero with the exception of it's damage level. Can anyone answer this for me because it really is going to be a deciding factor for me.
There is nothing for it on Metacritic either, very strange.
Lucy O'Brien and her reviews are schizophrenic. She will praise a game in the review, but then give it a low score. I feel like she harped on the single player too much an didn't give as much weight to the creation process, which is what this game is all about. Why does COD get a pass on having a bad single player? Reviews these days are a joke. I will read the content, but not take the number into account. Also, the female reviewers are great to have on IGN, but I want a male to...
Do you even know what bloatware is? The only space I see being used by steam is the library of 70+ games I own. Also, Steam uses hardly any resources at all. Bring up your task manager and you'll see. I think you have no idea what steam is nor used it. Finally, no one is forcing anyone to use Steam.
I spent $650 and my machine plays everything at max settings except for Crysis 3 at better than 40 fps. People really need to stop pretending like pc gaming is too expensive. If you know what you are doing a decent cheap build is attainable.
Yes, but my comment still stands, no one mentions their previous work and how similar it really is. Zany weapons that power up over time, rail grinding, bright color pallet and hilarious witty writing. I have yet to read a review that mentions those things. Like I said, a re-skinned Ratchet & Clank. Go play those games and tell me you don't see the similarities.
Why do all the reviews keep mentioning insomniac got it's inspiration from Jet Set or Infamous. This game is like a re-skinned Ratchet & Clank, which had crazy weapons, enemies and rail grinding. It's like they forgot those games even exist. I don't own an Xbox One, but I love insomniac and I feel like they are not getting credit for their original ideas from years ago. This game is theirs and theirs alone, don't take that from them. If anything Infamous got it's ...
I find it funny that this article talks about critics not getting the game. Then goes on to mention the controls not being responsive. It has been stated that was a conscious choice to induce panic and it works. Game reviews really have become quite a joke.
While I get what you are saying, there is a huge difference between 30 and 60 fps. Last gen I would mostly get games on PC because of the fact the FPS were higher. It looks smoother, plays better and it is impossible not to spot the difference. If someone were to flip the videos as you say I don't think anyone who has seen 60 fps would be fooled. It is like the difference between having your TV set to normal or set at 240 Hz, the difference is jarring, just like 30 FPS v 60 FPS.
Why didn't you link any of the positive reviews?
They gimped the game in the name of DLC, it's Titanfall all over again.
It is your PC, not Steam. I have had a very stable experience with it and all of my 72 games work perfectly fine.
Normally I would agree with you, but this project is in the hands of two directors who are amazing in their respective mediums. Not to mention Guillermo freaking Del Toro is involved...in a Silent Hill game. If those two facts alone don't get you excited about this game then nothing else will. I would suggest you just stop following it's development at this point because you'll only encounter disappointment. I on the other hand am very very excited by the names involved.
Gaming on the PC is the best value, games are $10 cheaper generally starting off. They drop in price much faster and Steam allows for really cheap AAA games. You can build a great PC for $500 USD so the cost of equipment argument is not really valid. That is the reason PC gaming has survived. Consoles are much different, games cost a lot more for a lot longer. I don't think you can compare the two because they both have completely different pricing models.
Dante, is that you?
I think what hurt the game was footage which was shown TWO years ago does not match the final product at all. The version from two years ago was what caught everyone's eye. With graphics that pretty people were impressed and made note of it's visuals. Then when it comes out 24 months later and has nowhere near the cool effects and underlying graphical features that comes down to the company's presenting a falsehood to people to gather interest which is wrong. It's false ad...
Action horror is not for "casuals" or "dude bros." It is merely a category for games. Just because you do not like the direction something goes does not mean it is all of the sudden casual. Casual could be applied to any genre by your logic. Just state the games went in a direction you personally do not desire.
Legends is only 19.99 for the vita on amazon and Bestbuy will price match it.
The companies may be protected, but who do you think ISPs will go after in retaliation? The answer is the consumer, we are the ones who need protection. The internet should be government regulated to keep costs low and affordable to all. It is becoming too large of an important commodity in everyday life.
In the case above yes. However, if you owned the PC version, then downloaded the PC version off a torrent site it would be a hard case to prove in court. You already own said game and the digital torrent you got would merely be a backup copy, which you are allowed to do with music, movies and other mediums. You cannot distribute them however, that would be illegal.
