None of your claims are valid. How can you attest to any of your statements. You saw a three minute trailer that was spliced together in order to excite people. You can take any of the past re games and splice them together to look just like all the things you seemingly we're able to glean by going into the future and playing the game. I am only commenting on the title. No such thing exists. The only "gaming tablet" I saw was a ridiculous and cumbersome prototype that won't see the market ever.

This time it is different though. People for the most part feel the price is good where it is. If anything Sony can drop the price of the memory cards and leave the Vita priced right where it is. It has so much more power and potential than the 3DS does technically that you would have to be a moron not see the value in it's price.

Well, the tablet is using something akin to onlive. The game is on a cloud, which is being run by one of those powerful pcs you rolled your eyes at. It is still very cool, but the tablet itself is not doing the actual work.

I maybe should have stated it better. I was pointing out he was using a game that uses dx 9 which is ancient in technical years compared to dx11. If he was going to point out why new consoles are needed he would have been better off comparing Battlefield 3, because there you have a real world comparison to make, not to mention on PC it's dx 11. The Witcher 2 does look amazing, but you are aware that is a DX 9 based game correct? You know the same DX 9 the current gen uses. Which essentially makes the programming used in the Withcer 2 the same as used in current gen. Now what were you saying about new consoles?
Well said, there has been a trend going of developers now using the PS3 as the lead. This makes for better quality games all around. The 360 is however starting to show it's age and certain things that are capable on the PS3 can't be done as well on the 360 (I know the phantom disagrees are coming, but it's true). I did play KZ1 on PS and while the graphics were quite good for the time, the game was bad. However, I would not expect much of a game that is now 7 years old. I think its more so people can experience the first game, but to expect HD graphics come on man. It is what it is.
Well considering the standard nowadays is still right around 30FPS on consoles, it's not really that surprising that he would get excited over something that is literally 2x as fast as the norm for most console owners.
