Probably extensive testing to make sure it didn't somehow enable modding/piracy, on top of quality control testing, etc. That, and there not being many PCIE4 drives.

I wouldn't care if they did go day one on PC, I, as well as millions of other gamers, do not want a PC as my primary gaming platform. I enjoy a small, easy to use console that has the primary purpose of gaming, not having to mess with operating systems, driver updates, etc.

OLED is better than CRT in nearly every way. Perfect black, no ghosting, no color bleed, and the image quality does not degrade with time. You can't ruin a OLED by putting a magnet near it... The only advantage I could give to CRT is slightly faster response time... but as stated above, OLEDs have 13ms response time, which is shorter than the 16ms is takes to draw a frame at 60fps (so if you think you're noticing that, you're wrong, it's not possible at 60fps), and that respo...
Dirt on the lens (and JJ Abrahms style overuse of lens flare) is the worst, especially in war games like Battlefield. We're not supposed to be a camera! Way to ruin the illusion of actually being the player we're controlling.

Those that haven't played the VR game, it's one of my favorite. They took platformers way beyond what can be accomplished on a flat screen. I hope PSVR 2 sees a sequel.

It couldn't run it at all. This game takes full advantage of PS5's SSD speed advantage by having levels load instantly as you warp between them. There would need to be load time pauses to pull this off on other systems, PC even.
Sony doesn't need to copy them, they're not the ones trying to compete with the leader and failing generation after generation. They own the local console market, they own the first party game development market, they don't need to become a service to survive.
