This game is never coming out, they're just going to take the money and run.
Do us all a favor... stay there.
Someone's scared this game will make them turn gay. It's always the closet types that fear it the most.
I'm not surprised to see all the 12 year olds and incels rocket this to the hottest story on n4g.
"I can't believe we're still debating Halo's aim assist, so here's an article to stir up the debate once more!"
Give us a VR capable road rash that looks this good!
This comparison ignores the fact that the internal SSD can be used as a cache. If a chunk of data is loaded onto it, it would dramatically increase the overall bandwidth available vs. just using the slower SSD. PS5's firmware could prioritize the data that gets accessed the most and cache it on the system drive for improved performance.
Nobody says that about PC games being playable on mid-range systems...
It could offer both, but $$$$$ has exchanged hands.
Those of you whining about "what would it be like if there were whites in African mythology" are missing the point entirely... The fact is, people of color have been under and misrepresented in entertainment for centuries. So, depicting someone who should have historically been black as white only furthers that. Depicting someone previously depicted as white as a person of color, does the opposite. It gives a chance for someone who historically has not been given chances to appear i...
These folks are looking back through rose colored glasses, that's for sure.
I dunno, I don't think Rockstar is quite dudebro "I mainline mountain dew mixed with crushed up doritos into an IV" enough for Halo.
Mikey, regardless of how wrong or right you may be, you betray your own intelligence with childish insults peppered into your post. Grow up.
Is PlayStation really in decline, or are supply constraints still a factor? You can't say a system is failing if there's none on the shelves. I know I still can't buy one. If Japan really does have them sitting on shelves, they need to ship us some! Otherwise, these FUD articles need to stop.
"Not good enough"... when compared against what? who is doing better?
Funny how nobody says "those damn mid-range PCs holding us back." every time a PC game gets announced that can't be played on anything but a 3090 with a 16 core CPU and 64GB RAM.
The game is in pre-production, they haven't even started making the actual game yet. The assets you saw were placeholders. There isn't much to show yet, so they focused on revealing how they plan on overhauling the mechanics and what visual improvements are in place, as well as planned.
A lot of devs don't show you early gameplay that is obviously early, talk about what things they plan on changing, make little demo levels for us to see how the mechanics work... this was a humble, hype-free presentation and was a breath of fresh air.
It didn't look like any of the shadows were baked in either, or not many if there were. The lighting was very dynamic.
I'm seeing them for sale, but at a premium... Amazon has them listed for over $600 USD.
