Foveated rendering will enable graphics in-game that couldn't ever be pulled off on similar hardware without it (for those that don't know what it is, it tracks where your eyes are looking, and dynamically lowers the resolution in all areas of the image except where the center of your vision is focused, because the edges of your vision are naturally blurry anyway). Above 4K resolution (they say 4k, but it's actually above UHD 4K resolution) and HDR OLED is fantastic, and the contr...
Clock speed isn't everything, let's keep in mind AMD has been handily beating Intel chips that were higher clocked for a while now.
yeah, the new controllers are supposed to be able to track your individual fingers, if the tech demo they showed off a while back is any indicator of what to expect.

Most motion sickness is caused by insufficient frame rate, which PS5/PSVR2 should improve leaps and bounds over what PS4 (even pro) could do, and those 2 already did great. Some people who are sensitive to motion sickness will still need some adjustment period to get used to it, i suggest trying games that don't move as fast (like don't go jumping into Wipeout VR your first time in, for instance.)
I'm not even a game developer, and I know how to make a police chase mechanic work in PS4's Dreams...
If you have $3000 to drop on a scalped GPU that is capable of it, maybe.
I bet this person is a hit at parties. Can't even play a tech demo without letting ignorance and racism shine through. I'd rather be "woke" than still asleep like this person's fragile mind.
Someone doesn't actually have a PS5.
So, they change the hair color and length... revolutionary!
It holds back all multiplatform next gen games by requiring them to be able to run on it as well. Without that, we'd get much more out of XSX and PS5 multiplatform games.
Ninty got out of the dedicated console race long ago, and went with what they've always been strongest at, handhelds. The Switch is just a handheld with a dock that lets you plug it into a TV.
Pirates suck.
You do realize separate teams work on all of those things, right?
Salabum, there is no hardware decompression accelerator you can buy for PC that works the same way Kraken does.
Even applying this tech to lower resolution models will yield a jump in realism we've never experienced in-game before.
Some stuff looks great, other stuff, like the fire, terrible. The volumetric effects are quite nice.
a good NEW game... not the 100th port of a 10+ year old game.
I love how they have to talk about PS exclusives in groups of 25...
The real question is, where's the lie?
There's no way you'll "feel the weight of the ball in your hands"... PSVR2 can't control gravity.
