"Why your opinion isn't right."
I hate these opinion articles that try to tell people what to think. If it begins with the word "why", it's 99% guaranteed to be garbage.
Though there are millions of people still waiting to get a system, so for them a Pro would likely be a great buy over the base, if they can afford it.
Sony already said they were shipping out PSVR2 devkits, and that many developers already have them, so that is unlikely.
Ps5 Pro
As long as you can still earn the cars for free without grinding for a year, I don't see the issue. If people want to be lazy and blow money on things they could get for free, sure, milk the hell out of them for every cent they're worth.
Both Japanese Xbox fans are overjoyed, I'm sure.
Motion sickness will be reduced by higher framerates, but never fully eliminated. Our brains freak out when they start to believe they actually are in another world, but when you move around in that world, they do not feel the forces of gravity acting on your body the same way it does when you move around in the real world, and this creates nausea in some people.
This article is grasping at straws, lol. Desperate for a "win" (if you want to call a multi-billion dollar company making money you'll never see a dime of a "win") over there, I guess.
We all saw what happened when a handful of companies came to own the vast majority of all TV and radio stations in America...
Capcom and Konami became successful in the arcade, then the NES, then Genesis/SNES is where they really blew up, as the game industry itself did... they don't owe anything to PlayStation, they would have been successful even if another system ended up being #1, like Nintendo or Sega. They did make a lot of great PlayStation games, no doubt, but they were well established in the industry long before PS was even a thought.
Don't forget that 110GB comes WITH Sony's Kraken compression tech, so on PS4 it would have been as much as 50% larger... unless 110GB is what they mean for the PS4 version of the game, and it'll be smaller on PS5.
Chances are Sony bought Bungie to let them develop the game Activision prevented Destiny from becoming. I doubt this was done with Destiny in mind.
Phil Spencer, regarding Bethesda, said that some of their games will be exclusive to platforms "on which gamepass exists". Key words there... with that said...

Their endgame is to be the netflix of games, and netflix isn't exclusive to Roku, for instance... it enjoys its success...
@darth, they were forced to lose MLB exclusivity by the MLB itself, they wouldn't extend Sony's license to use the MLB name and players unless they did that.
As for SNK, look what happened to them... they eventually quit bothering with hardware and focused on software alone, which is where I see this going with MS as well. It may not happen this gen, but I do think Series X (and maybe a "pro" model) will be the last Xbox generation. It just doesn't mak...
You guys are desperately clinging to the idea that Microsoft isn't a third party publisher now even though they keep proving you wrong... Spencer said it himself, saying they have no plans on removing franchises from other consoles, now the company has said the same to the SEC... and you're still all "but in the future!!!"... the whole reason they told the SEC this is to ensure them that in the future these games will still be available to other platforms, to avoid them bein...
And there goes our confirmation, Microsoft's SEC filing states outright that they will not be taking games away from the PlayStation platform, or any other platform. They are officially a third party developer.
This is especially true with hardware getting more expensive to develop and ship due to the pandemic and the Trump tariffs against Chinese manufacturers. There's simply more money in software, vs. trying to compete in an already crowded console market that has been dominated by the same Japanese companies for generations.
The fanboys can downvote all they want, even the analysts and Spencer himself agree with me when I say that they will not be making these franchises exclusive. You can pipe dream all you want about them taking on billions upon billions of dollars in losses in order to build an install base of hardware that they have not made a cent off of in 4 generations (only their services and software has been profitable for the xbox brand), but their shareholders, who control their decisions, are only in...
COD was the top selling game of 2021 (with 60% of those sales coming from PlayStation platforms... another reason why it will never go exclusive)... Actvision is far from failing, even with Kotick's antics.
The people don't really look all that bad, considering they might get 5 frames of screen time during a race... also, lol at Hideo Kojima making a cameo in that last pic.
