If Microsoft really cared, they'd be putting their foot down about this and saying the deal won't go through if they don't remove him.
It isn't new, they already have tech (like in Davinci Resolve) that will generate depth maps of 2D images, which is a rough version of the same thing. This can then be used to mask people or objects out of the frame for coloring, effects, etc.
Yet they were not removed on Series S? That doesn't make any sense. PS5 has more than enough horsepower to do it (it's very rare for PS5 to fall behind Series X in any head to head comparisons, after all, and sometimes it pulls ahead). They obviously didn't optimize it well for PS5... the same is evidenced by the fact that the load times are slower than PC (PS5's HDD is still faster than anything you can put in a PC at this point in time, the fastest SSD currently on the marke...
As a former reviewer, it doesn't always work out that way. Many times we have multiple games to review on a short schedule, and to make matters worse, many developers don't let us actually get our hands on the game until at or near launch (review embargoes), so there is very little time to actually complete the game, because if you don't get your review out day and date with everyone else, then it won't get any views.
I'm currently loving it!
Difficult to say at this point. Do I currently have more games than I do time? Yes, and they're all great games... will it remain that way? We'll see.

In all seriousness, it does have good uses for VR... reconstructing a room in 3D space can help with really cool augmented reality experiences.

@gangsta There are a lot of crap games with high meta scores. As you say, half the game is crap... nobody should get a free pass for releasing a game that is only half-good. Quit making excuses.
Microsoft has managed to get FOUR exclusives out the door this gen... FOUR. That isn't "the other studios are doing just fine", no matter how you spin it. A lot of you are just sucking up to MS and doing all you can to polish that turd... As you say, delays are common ...

Microsoft couldn't even get their flagship game out on time, and when they finally did, it ended up being a big disappointment. I don't have much hope for Microsoft with these new studios, which is a shame, because some of my favorite games are produced by them. There is obviously a management problem going on here, and yes, it starts at the top down. I guess it makes sense to have the summons fight each other, rather than just sitting around tossing attacks at the humans while ignoring each other.
PSVR2 is coming in hot... people complained about the lack of AAA experiences on PSVR... I've seen almost as many as there are for PSVR shown for PSVR2 and it isn't even out yet.
Easy to say when there's many characters that are like you already in video games.
