Gotta love how Microsoft buys doom, craps out this turd, then the fanboys still are all "disagree1!!!!11" to the above comment... the proof is right in front of you, and you still can't see it through your bias.
"I'm told that Sony controls 98% of the high-end gaming market."
And in that line, they told us they are an ill-informed fool who needs to do some research. Yes, Sony is the leader of the pack, by far, but they don't in any way, shape, or form control 98% of the "high end gaming" market share.
They've also never bought a developer or publisher that used to make third party games and had them make those games exclusives. Th...
Welcome to Doom under Microsoft.
TBH, I had more fun playing games like MAG on PS3, or Warhawk, than I ever did COD... though COD was never really my thing. I liked Modern Warfare, but after they kept milking that cash cow year after year, I got bored of it.
I honestly don't think COD is going to be very popular a decade from now, something else will come along that blows it out of the water. At this point, brand recognition is pretty much the only reason nobody else has been able to dethrone it. It i...
Just scored my PSVR2... I like the payment plan they offer, even to people with terrible post-COVID concert/festival industry worker credit like myself. Half up front, $100 every 2 weeks from there. Makes it much more reasonable.
Typical of him... pathetic. Logic means nothing to these types. I haven't seen this level of zealotry since the last time a particular politician had a rally.
I love how you have nothing but personal attacks to offer against the points I'm making, other than the one "Did XBox One hold back PS4?", which is ridiculous in itself, as Xbox One wasn't (roughly) half the power of PS4 like Xbox Series S is PS5... The difference in power isn't even comparable, and only further shows how ridiculous your argument is. The difference between Xbox One and PS4 was mostly due to the limitations on the size of Xbox One's 32MB eSRAM frame b...
And to answer your question (again, since you ignored it the first time)...
"I knew about all those links you posted. Notice how none of those links never answered the question. How does any of this effect PS5 like YOU claimed originally? "
If the game is also on PS5, and it is a multiplatform game that MUST run on all systems, then the feature gets dumbed down or removed from ALL versions, INCLUDING PS5. Feature parity is required if the game i...
Just as I said you would, you ignored the majority of the evidence I presented, then moved the goal posts into the one place I told you developers would never go... bashing their own game they are trying to sell you in order to tell you that they scrapped a feature due to it not running on S... just as I expected you to. And you have the nerve to call ME mentally ill, lol. You are flat out delusional, and it's made worse by the fact that you have no idea what you are talking about from a ...
Yes, movies and music, but you aren't going to get lower quality special effects in your movies due to the TV you are watching them on. Picture and sound quality are one thing, but when it affects the movie itself... or if forced to do it over the cloud... it would be akin to the movie's audio and video being out of sync (input lag).
@lightning
Since you're going to move the goal posts around...
Baldur's gate delayed on S because they couldn't get split screen to work on it... again, this is just the case you heard about, there are likely many more incidents where the feature was just cut to make it work on all systems, and when that happens, you'll never hear about it, as no dev wants to talk down on their own game as lacking in features because they're trying to ...
@lightning Every third party game ever released whose developers want to take full advantage of the power of PS5 and XBSX.
Go read the comments from the developers who have decided to not release their game on Xbox at all, or to delay release or remove features, because S couldn't pull it off.
Then remember the fact that the majority of the time, developers want to be able to sell to the Xbox install base, so they just scrap those features outright ra...
It plays the same games because developers are forced to dumb down their game to make it work on S, which hurts us all regardless of if we bought Xbox or not, if those developers want to be able to release their game on Xbox Series X. There isn't even any debate to be had about that anymore, developers have confirmed it multiple times now. Microsoft has hurt their own customers by the fact that some devs are skipping Xbox entirely due to not wanting to mess with having to get their game r...
especially when they crap all over well-loved franchises. Thanks Microsoft!
When people ignore decades of experience and scientific research in favor of their own bias, you know they are full of bull, lol. None of you even knew you were seeing a similar effect in every video you've ever watched on TV, your phone, your game consoles, or your computer... that is enough to prove the point right there.
People don't realize that pretty much all video they've ever seen on TV, blu-ray, youtube, etc. all follows a similar technique, but it happens in software. This is an over-simplified explanation of it (I'd have to go into a lot of detail to explain it all), but YUV compression works in much the same way... the human brain does not perceive detail in color, we see detail in black and white. So, to take advantage of this limitation, YUV compression... which all video you have ever ...
You know you've built a good headset when the review gush about how clear and colorful the image is, moreso than any other headset they've tried, and the haters have to break out the microsocopes to generate talking points.
Based on your strange sexual projections, seems like you haven't had a date in a long time, if ever.
Yeah, it's that mistake that pisses me off the most, as it affects MY games on my system of choice... now my third party games have to lose features or dumb them down so they can run on a machine that belongs in the previous generation. Microsoft can go be incompetent in their own little corner, but once their stupidity affects the things I spend my money on, then I have problems with them.
If Sony blocked COD on their platforms, MS would have a MUCH harder time justifying spending billions on buying Activision, as COD is about all they are worth these days, and PlayStation is their biggest install base by far.
