@wiz, Sony has not bought a single publisher, and even the individual studios they buy, they have not bought a single studio that was making a multiplatform game intended for multiple and then made that game exclusive instead (looking at you Elder Scrolls V, Starfield). Prove that wrong, or you're the one here looking foolish.

RTX IO, Direct Storage, PC is finally starting to catch up to the Kraken decompression hardware found in PS5... but unfortunately it comes at the cost of GPU power having to do the lifting, so PC loses a little bit of the advantage its GPUs have in the process. This might not be as big of a deal now, but PS5 Pro is also on the horizon.
Every COD game is half baked and basically a DLC update of its predecessor.
Digging through the couch for loose change...
Don't forget that Call of Duty sells more copies on PlayStation than on any other console... a LOT more. Microsoft needs this from Sony more than the other way around.
Something tells me their next game might actually be fixing some of those problems, and this might just be a taste of it.
It had move support.
He's chilled out more in recent years, but this dude used to talk so much BS back in the early Xbox 360 days...
"We don't care if this is old. Nelson told HipHopGamer at E3 that PS3's going to be gathering dust soon thanks to Metal Gear: Rising going multi-plat.
"I'm going to be happy when I come to your place next time and I see your PS3 off with dust on it," said the exec.
"That's all I want to ...
"By using some of your GPU power, so much that your system must run the game at 720p30, you can compress the data enough and decompress it fast enough to use a HDD... Meanwhile PS5 can do it at full 4K60 with no penalty to the GPU because it has dedicated hardware that does the decompression for it." -fixed
Consolidation into monopoly is never a win for any industry.
Look at what has happened to every other dev microsoft has bought... *cough* Rare *cough*... they will run these devs into the dirt and their competition will come out on top anyway.
The feature parity thing was already an issue, because all third party games that released on xbox have to abide by it.
The economy isn't that bad off... In fact, the federal reserve is raising interest rates to try to slow consumer spending to ease inflation, but people keep spending more anyway, which is why they are looking to hike interest rates at least 2 more times. If people were broke, they wouldn't be spending so much.
I mean, Sony has been profitable on hardware, software, and services consistently. MS has not, so...
This would be believable if Xbox had not been in the red since it's inception.
MS is obviously digging into the couch for loose change to try to make Xbox profitable... It's a sure sign of a company division losing money when they start nickel and diming, raising prices, etc.
discs are outdated, there's no reason for them to not stick to cartridges. We now have SD cards that can hold more and read faster than any blu-ray ever could, and they can also write data to the card as well... no reason for discs anymore.
Yeah, the lighting is very weak, the player isn't affected by the environment light, and the light the player emits only minimally affects the environment, it isn't casting shadows and such... It kinda looks like a PS3 game, TBH, just in higher resolution.
List all the Xbox Series only exclusives since launch, then the PS5 only exclusives since launch... go ahead, I'll wait... Some of you seem to forget Series had zero non-cross gen exclusives for almost the first 2 years of its life...
