I think there's going to be another wave of buyers that purchase the game once the third part of the trilogy is released, especially if they release it as a bundle.

Yeah, Remake was great, Rebirth is phenomenal. I gave it a standing ovation once the credits rolled... But man was that last fight a pain! Left me screaming all sorts of obscenities at my TV.
They've lost billions on their hardware, never made a dime of profit. Only software and services have made them money. They only reason to make the hardware is to sell the software and services, but they aren't selling enough hardware to justify that, which is why they now have to release their games on competing hardware.

PlayStation games appearing on PC something that has happened since the first PlayStation decades ago... with games like Wipeout, for instance. The only real change is they are ported more often now, but still not day and date.

That's why you can't rely on just one exclusive, Sony has always delivered on a wide range of solid exclusives, even this generation (even if they haven't been strong on the first party exclusives, they've made up for it with third party). They don't rely on just one "system seller", they have a portfolio of them.
You say that like Phil didn't just give thousands of people the axe while you stood in silence. We see your hypocrisy... We know you're mad that your box just got the Dreamcast treatment, but at least try to remain objective.
1. MS laid off thousands of people, several times more than Sony did.
2. PS5 is nearly 4 years old, new consoles typically drop 6-8 years after the previous, with the previous being supported up to 10 years total. There is nothing out of the ordinary by saying PS5 is in the latter half of its generation.
3. London Studio didn't make money... so they got closed. Nothing out of the ordinary there either.
People keep saying that, yet we still have games running at near HD resolutions, 30fps, and ray tracing features turned off.
