If you're patient, don't mind paying at least double, and don't mind gaming on a clunky PC that doesn't exactly integrate well into the living room, while skipping features like a dedicated 3D audio processor.
"Why wait for PS5 pro when a proper PC is already better than a PS6 and with a 5090 this year a PS7?"
My 3090 still hasn't been close to being maxxed out. I hate having a loud, large desktop with a GPU the size of a console in it sucking 1kw or more of power in my living room, the noise really ruins the quiet moments in games when I should be hearing subtle sound clues through my surround system utilizing the dedicated 3D audio processor you cannot buy for a P...
Trillions to burn, and they still couldn't prevent coming in last place literally every single generation they existed.
The fact is, Microsoft isn't privately owned. Their shareholders own a large chunk of those trillions of dollars, and their shareholders aren't going to let the Xbox division piss that money away forever. They see that not only has Xbox been coming in dead last for generations, but that the sales are actually getting worse. They see that the l...
Nice copium.
It's confirmed.
Looks fun to me, as long as the price is right.
If I knew I can make something and sell 80 million of it, I damn sure would keep making it. I don't care if I only made a penny off of each sale.
There will always be a demographic that only buys physical. I tried phasing out selling discs at my company years ago, and yet I'm still forced to make a few for clients that refuse to go to downloadable copies. I literally will lose multi-thousand dollar jobs just because I will not make a plastic disc for somebody to wat...
only to have a good bit of that massive power (and the massive investment required to buy it) thrown out the window due to poor optimization and the need for backwards compatibility with cheaper, more common hardware.
You forced yourself to click on it, and to comment on it. All you had to do was scroll on past. It's literally one article among dozens that don't talk about anything LGBT+, and yet you still couldn't handle it. Gay people exist, you're going to have to realize and accept that fact. They aren't going to go into hiding because you're insecure about their existance.
Simple, they are triggered, and need to make sure the whole world knows that gay people make them uncomfortable for some reason.
Bout to be eXBox if this trend keeps up.
@michiel, because they release on PS5.
I think it's the gamers that get to decide that... you don't take a test and then go up to the teacher saying "I deserve an A".
Guess what they didn't show much of? Exclusive titles. Not even Gears 6 was cited to be exclusive to Xbox.
Looks like you were proven wrong yet again.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how PS5 Pro handles GT7, with its supposed 400% increase in ray tracing power.
Hopefully Astrobot Rescue Mission 2 for PSVR2.
VR is where Astrobot started (as far as full games go), so I fully agree. Astrobot Rescue Mission is easily one of the best VR games ever made, and one of the best platformers ever made as well, VR or not. I was sorely disappointed to see no mention of VR support in the trailer for this game. If you play it, you quickly realize there's things they did in VR that could never be done on a flat TV screen, and they added quite a lot to the experience, not just cheap gimmicks. I still hold hop...
That's because they only use it for reflections in that game..
I do CG rendering for a living.. Ray tracing isn't just "slightly better" when properly utilized. The problem is, they don't properly utilize it in most games. Many games only have ray traced reflections, but the rest is still rasterized. A few use it for lighting as well, but so far no game has ever been fully ray traced. Systems just aren't powerful enough for it yet. Once they are, you wouldn't want to play a game that was rasterized again.
Except it has way too much latency for fast paced games.
