Problem solved. $10.

They have different lenses you put into the visor if you have impaired vision. I don't remember if the lens itself is supposed to correct your vision or if it's just made to be able to put on over glasses.

He doesn't seem to have any issues.
So that means PS4's CPU doesn't have to be used to process it's OS, video, or audio. It has dedicated chips for each. This gives it a processing advantage over XB1, which has to use it's CPU to handle kinect and it's OS.
This is like Sega trying to say the dreamcast's difference from PS2 only existed "on paper".
Just a recruiting tool ran by teenagers. Their game developers are still doing their thing. Don't worry.
@blackmagic, I actually like your analogy better, as it better clarifies RAM latency vs. mine, which makes the latency sound more like internet latency. Though in the end, it still equals how long the chip has to wait to get it's data.
The GPU is definitely the work horse in these new consoles. This is why we're seeing games rely on GPGPU functions more and more these days, offloading tasks that the CPU normally would do, like physics, onto the compute units of the GP...
If a hurricane destroyed my games, it wouldn't matter which console I owned. However, with X1's old policy, the console turns into a big ugly brick after one day. All other consoles keep working, no phone tether required (and that cell phone service might not be there either if the towers get damaged).
You've obviously never played a PS3. When PS3 launched, you could gift up to 4 of your friends with any downloaded game. They later scaled that back to just one ot...
Video games are far more GPU dependent than they are CPU dependent. This is why better bandwidth>better latency (and also why both consoles have a relatively weak CPU when compared against their GPUs). GPUs need lots and lots of bandwidth, as they have to constantly access VRAM to perform different operations, many of which take place at the same time and therefore require a lot of bandwidth so none of those operations starve each other of data when waiting to draw the next frame.

So, you lend every one of your games to 10 people? There is no way that you do, so enabling 10 to play full versions of all of your games will not fly with the publishers.
Even with the one friend at a time being able to play it, I still don't see it flying when 10 people can have access to that one game. Sony already lets you install your games on another PS3 if you sign into your account to download it on a friend's PS3, and will even let them play it on their accou...
No, you are ignoring the negative, while also ignoring the fact that steam is not the only way to buy a game on PC. It is an option. On Xbox One, DRM was supposed to be system wide, regardless of if your game was disc based or not. Also, the details on that friend sharing system were never fully released, though it was rumored that your friends would only be able to play your games for one hour before being required to purchase the game. Even if it were just like it sounds in MS' vague pr...
Last time I checked, steam didn't make me take all my disc based PC games and copy them to my hard drive, then required me to log into their servers once per day in order to play those disc based games, or try to restrict who I can lend or sell my disc based game to... Last time I checked it was entirely optional if I wanted to play the vast majority of my PC games via a steam download or by buying it on disc.
DRM has been on PC in many forms over the years, but never bef...
One also has to consider the reports of the XB1's launch unit allocation being held back by manufacturing issues (rumored to be ESRAM issues). I'm not sure if those were ever verified, but it makes you wonder how much of each system Amazon was allocated for launch day.
I see, so because I'm not willing to listen to some fanboy's plea in favor of the most restrictive DRM measures ever attempted in the industry, I'm automatically biased. Gotcha.
Thanks for taking a dump in the pool you're already swimming in. It compliments the pee nicely.
I liked UT2004's vehicle combat. It's where I first started using a hybrid controller/mouse approach. I bought a cheap imitation dual shock PC controller. I'd use it in my left hand (the left side of it only) to control my vehicle with the analog stick, enter/exit/use with L3, L1 jumped and L2 crouched. I'd map other stuff to the D-pad and even the select button as needed. Then I'd use the mouse in my right hand for precision aiming. That gave me full analog control of mov...
If they can recapture the magic of UT2004, I'm all for it. UT3 kinda sucked to me.
Your system is only as fast as it's slowest part. PS4 gets around bottlenecks that no equally powered PC can. Sure, you can dump $2,000 into a system and make it have components that will be able to run PS4 quality games at a higher resolution or framerate, but you will never be able to spend $400 on a PC that can do all the things a PS4 can, at least for the next few years. In fact, I'm willing to bet you won't be able to match PS4's performance even with a $600 machine. <...

I'm capable of thinking for myself, thank you. I don't need the opinion of an armchair journalist to know when I'm being screwed by a company.
icicle, power supplies do fail, however in many cases the failure doesn't just stop there. I've seen PSUs take entire systems with them when they died.
Also, PS3's PSU is about the easiest part to self-replace other than the HDD, though I do agree that just being able to buy a new one is more convenient than having to repair your system.
This kid broke no law. There was no specific threat made, only a general joking reference to shooting up some random school. If I say "I'm gonna blow up a building! j/k lol", it's not the same as saying "I'm going to blow up the white house!" (disclaimer to the NSA/DHS/etc., the previous sentence was written as an example only, and is not in any way a threat). There are big differences between the two, one being legal, the other not.

Until that pro driver steps into the Ferrari, and we all know how many pro drivers there are working under the SCEWWS umbrella.
