but at a "shouldn't have to be an option" price.
I would imagine there would be a detachable drive for it like the PS5 slim, but still, at that price it should be included.
$700 is a very tall order... I'm seriously reconsidering whether or not I want to pay that much for it, and I was ready to plop down as much as $600 day 1. PS4 Pro brought similar gains over PS4 at the same price it launched at, $400. I'm not seeing $350-400 worth of gains here.
Not only are games designed to run on PC few and far between, but they are designed to run on... mid range cards, just like what we'll be getting here. The number of people who own top of the line GPUs is miniscule in comparison to those who own mid-range systems (go look it up), and developers don't max out the hardware until it is several years old as a result. Sure, you might find one game that can't run a game at "X" resolution or framerate not long after the top of ...
I really don't see how this qualifies as "inappropriate". The fanboy mods around here really are starting to get ridiculous. It's a sound statement to make, that can be backed by lots of evidence. While it may be an opinion, it isn't like it's something inflammatory, many of the moves MS has made lately has even Xbox fans agreeing that Xbox's days may be numbered. They also overuse the "spam" label, oftentimes not even on posts that qualify as spam, jus...
It isn't DEI, it's just pandering for profit. DEI is inclusion, this goes beyond that. It's inclusion for the sake of making money, not for anything that relates to the story of the video game. This is the video game equivalent of every corporation changing their logos to rainbows during pride month... just trying to make that dollar, without actually giving a damn about the people they are pandering to beyond what's in their wallet.
For instance: "DaV...
If they'd made Dreams a LBP game, with all the development tools Dreams has but with a main game that was tied to the LBP universe, we'd probably still be playing Dreams. It's a shame, I had more fun with Dreams than any other PS4/PS5 game. I made so many great games and VR experiences in it. Now I can't even play them because I gave away my PSVR to my sister when I upgraded to PSVR2, and they never bothered to port it.
LBP had 3 different main series games and more spinoffs, they brought it back over and over. Infamous also got brought back more than once. Days Gone has sold over 9 million copies, more than any LBP game, so there's a good chance it'll be brought back eventually.
The PSVR game is just as great (better IMO, just because it's so much more immersive in VR)... sadly not enough people owned the hardware to enjoy it.
This game checks off every box... absolute perfection.
I've thoroughly enjoyed my PS5.
Jim Ryan steered them off course with the GaaS BS, and once you start up several projects and dump hundreds of millions into them, you have to try to at least make something back off of them. Now that these games are releasing, we can start to move past them, and back to what made Sony so great to begin with.
PS5 suffered from COVID production slowdown, hardware shortages, and then a terrible shift towards GaaS by its former leader that it is only just now starting to recover from. They're still trying to crap out the last of the GaaS titles greenlit under Ryan, Concord was a last ditch effort to try to salvage what they knew we all didn't want, but they couldn't afford to not at least try to get it out there and recoup some of those losses.
Now with all that out of...
It's so good... and it has many of the best songs from the PSVR version, the soundtrack is classic.
I honestly knew this was Astro's future once I played Rescue Mission for PSVR... that game in VR rewrote the rules on what a good platformer is... so much better than anything you could ever do on a flat screen.
Sushi, do you even know what dei means? What part about this game was held back by that?
They need to just kill this program already, they've gimped it to being worthless as it is.
Xbox as a system isn't sustainable - FACT
and in turn...
Gamepass isn't sustainable - FACT
All the game sales in the world on other consoles aren't going to keep Xbox hardware afloat when people no longer see a need to buy it, considering they already don't see a need to buy it before these exclusive games jumped ship. Without Xbox hardware, Gamepass can only exist on PC, and without those Xbox subscribers, gamepass is g...
"You gonna have to pay for every single Xbox game released on Playstation."
This isn't true, as there are already Call of Duty games available on PS+. If MS sees a a way to make money on it, they're going to take it.
What games would those be? Seriously, I keep hearing people talking about these supposed CPU bound games that run bad on PS5 due to its CPU, but nobody can name one.
