That doesn't justify him being a dick by participating in it.
Insomniac's games have never been known to be big system-sellers... and MCC is a collection of old games being remastered. It'll see nice sales, but not the type of game that moves systems.
The game would look amazing if it were running on PS3, but by next gen standards, no. And, this isn't an MMO. I've never been in an instance where there were any more than 6 human players on screen at once.
They definitely need to tweak the UI, mine is starting to get very cluttered with games and finding certain games and apps takes longer than it should. They need a way to organize the icons better.
lol, truefanboy got owned.. repeatedly. I almost feel bad for them... but I don't.
Yeah, it isn't like this game will win any awards for its visuals. Very dated, as fun as the game may be. Just laziness on their part. That, or someone coughed up a lot of money for parity.
This just basically means that all third party developer support for Kinect is about to be all dried up in a few months as more developers use that extra 10% to try to achieve as much parity as possible with other platforms.
I don't think the voice commands are what the 10% was reserved for, as PS4 supports voice commands with no such reservation. It likely had to do with skeletal tracking.
You would have to play the game online if it used cloud aided physics, assuming your internet connection was even good enough. Physics changing dramatically can have a big effect on gameplay, so it isn't always going to be as easy as making another mode the console can run the game in by itself if the game relies on heavy physics simulation. Also, you can't download physics calculations before they are even triggered. Each calculation is unique in many cases (unless it is a scripted e...
Cloud aided rendering is a pipe dream for now. Latency just isn't there yet for the framerates that we demand for gaming. Physics can work on a limited scale, but bandwidths and latencies fluctuate, and you don't want your gaming physics (which can ruin your game if something goes wrong, depending on the situation) messing up because your net connection had a hiccup. Titanfall claimed cloud AI, but it was nothing special (which is why you don't hear the fanboys citing it as a vali...
Don't you love how Microsoft can show a staged demo with servers connected over a local network to a PC showing a building being blown up (at 720p, 30fps, mind you), and suddenly that becomes proof of their claim that an upcoming game will be using the same tech on consoles over the actual internet...
Look at how many people got excited by Nintendo's presser, it was pre-baked.
Sony is already tip-toeing in that direction with the PS4 E3 app they released. I see eventually morpheus being integrated in, and then the need for a press conference disappears. A VR press conference is held instead, and the people with 2D screens can watch as observers. Then a fully modeled E3 booth afterwards for people to play game demos in via PS now.
That has interesting implications as well. Do you then have a need for E3 at all? Or even the journalists that report o...
Unreal Engine 4 really shines with this one.
Why I'm tired of seeing countless opinion article after opinion article about why someone thinks some company "won" a game industry trade show.
I say make him a dog.
Sounds like we have several fools who need to go back to playing Atari.
It's because I dared suggest that Wii U can't do something and some people just can't handle the thought of it.
After having spent a good bit of time playing Destiny, I can tell you that his departure didn't hurt the game at all as far as how fun it is to play goes. I wasn't exited about this game until I got to spend some real quality time with it, and while they still have lots of work to do, it is shaping up to be the true "halo killer". The game plays just like a Halo MMO. Combat is almost identical. I haven't had enough time with the multiplayer aspect of it to compare the tw...
He isn't the only one that believes in being a dick, he's just a dick among many. And a whiny, self righteous one a that.
Telling gamers that uploading video clips of your game is piracy is a dick move, no matter how you slice it. Video games are interactive experiences, and there is no way you can get an interactive experience by watching a video clip of a game. A video clip of a game is nothing more than promotion for that game, and when you attack the people who go...
