This is Microsoft's flagship franchise, it is very much more important than Driveclub's screwup, which was an unknown new IP that didn't have all that much hype behind it to begin with in comparison to MCC.
@xander So you're saying Digital Foundry was debunked as lying about the Xbox One version? Nice try. Here it is on video.

Because this has become a standard way to ship games in today's gaming industry. Look at Driveclub, Skyrim, etc... Games being launched broken are far too common these days. This is why we have alpha and beta tests, to stress test the servers and the net code and make sure it can hold up.
Blades of grass here, more pixels there, more frames over there... on a consistent basis... If you are looking to purchase the more powerful console, that is definitely something one needs to consider. If 2 machines that share 80% of the same games and cost roughly the same (well, at least until this recent fire sale) want my money, how much each machine can do is something I'm going to consider. If those 80% of games look and run better on one machine than the other, I want to know. Ther...
^ That's what happens when delusions collapse, the delusional are left confused and begin talking in every direction trying to create a scenario where what just happened isn't such a bad thing and begin using those imaginary scenarios to explain how their delusion is still true.
Gotcha... Sounds like I could use a little more time watching wrestling.
...nah. lol
"WWE 2K15′ Could Use Some More Time In Developmental"
With grammar like that, sounds like the author could use some more time in school.
Does this look like a draw to you? If so, call your optometrist.

@pump If the FPS were the only difference, that argument would be true. But, it isn't.
For a game that only got a modest visual upgrade, it's obvious that the engine isn't exactly suited for next gen. That is the one thing I can take away from looking at both versions. Last gen systems were CPU heavy, and weak to moderate on the GPU end. This gen it is the opposite. Both consoles have weak CPUs (with one having a modest increase in clock), and the GPUs are where t...
@lemoncake
32mb of on-chip ESRAM isn't cheap either, and I can promise you MS is taking a loss on these sales to boost their install base. A good move on their part, but they're not dropping the price that low because they can afford to. They hope to make enough sales to stay competitive. How well it'll work for them will remain to be seen, they've lost a lot of money on Xbox One as it is, just like they did with the previous 2 Xboxes.
After paying 2-3x what a console costs to get a decent PC, you'll come to find the game still runs like crap. It's a crappy game that was coded terribly. When even the PC version has performance issues on the best hardware on the market, you know you need to hire new developers to make your games.
Game comes out on PS4 with more than 600,000 pixels per frame resolution difference over the XO version...
XO Fanboys: "Who cares, it's all about gameplay. You can't tell the difference in that extra 180p anyway unless you have a TV the size of my house."
Article comes out saying that a game that was purposely gimped to run at the EXACT SAME RESOLUTION as the XO version is sharper on the XO version (which is an oxymoron in itself when you co...
This was one hilarious comment. So butthurt by this news that you didn't even know how to respond, you got all confused and started dismissing everything as unimportant. You went to hyping the game's graphics, then dismissing 1080p as beneficial to picture quality and then citing a PS4 arcade game as evidence (when all but 4 PS4 games ever released run at 1080p, and just about all of them look amazing doing it), then you dismiss the entire situation as no concern because you now have ...
They still have 80 million PS3s and 3 or 4 Vitas to keep connected as well, so their load is even larger when you factor in install base, especially since PS3's online is free so everyone is playing that has an internet connection.
I say they're too focused on gimmicks, not focused enough on games.
Yes, but one platform does so way more often. 12 games on this list run at 1080p60 on PS4 but at a lower resolution or framerate on Xbox One. (Exclusives were not counted, only multiplatform games).

THIS JUST IN: An elite Anonymous hacker accidentally hit enter after typing in a random string of code on an Xbox One devkit, and it exploded... but not before revealing that it was secretly hiding an 800 core 56.6GHZ processor!!! There was also something in the code about the 32mb of ESRAM actually being 32GB, but the programmer was drunk that day and typed a M instead of a G, so game developers have been thinking all this time they've had to gimp resolution due to memory and bandwidth c...
@XBLSkull
There are exactly 3 confirmed sub1080p games on PS4. Battlefield 4, The Order, and AC:Unity.
That said, there are a lot of examples of non 1080p60 PS4 games, but there are far more of them than there are on XO.
MS' own playready site states it is for multimedia delivery... music, TV, VOD, etc.
It's so funny watching XBLSkull going through the 5 stages of loss. Still in the denial stage, slowly moving towards acceptance.
PS4 is more powerful, there is no other way to cut it. There isn't really anything XB1 can do that PS4 cannot. The CPU is clocked "slightly" higher, but not enough to make any real difference. PS4 could easily make that up and then some with the extra 50% more compute units that can do GPGPU tasks, and we're not even getting i...
