Shocking how then an article bashing the Wii U made it on this and didn't supply all the info...
Good to know, that being said, I'd be interested to see this guy make another game.
Something had to have happened, maybe it had something to do with Indie guy leaving Nintendo. As I've learned in business especially in a very select industry... NEVER BURN BRIDGES. It always comes back to haunt you...
I want to rebuy for the PS1 want collectors have it on ebay for $50 sometimes $60... I can't remember what game had Einhander as a demo... but I think I ended playing Einhander more than the full game it actually came with.
I know right!? I love my kid, and she bazillion other toys to play with, but all she wants to is hit the power button the xbox/ps4/wii u controllers... along with hiding my phone...
Seriously I don't get the very short battery life at all, I mean they essentially added a light bar to the controller from the DS3 that would be the biggest power consuming difference and yet I have close to a quarter of the battery life. I understand why the WiiU has a short battery life but the DS4 is ridiculous. That being said, still love the feel of controller.
@ThatArtGuy i guess that makes sense, I turned down the led light and the speaker, didn't really hel...
I was high paying attention to it last night, and that one really big scare happened, I darn near fell out of my chair. That has to be one of, if not the most intense demos I've ever watched.
I don't really see any wear on mine yet and I play my PS4 daily, hell, my teething child will occasionaly, when I'm not looking, chew on the analog sticks. Haven't had problem them yet, the battery though... now that's a different discussion.
I loved these games, I'm a sucker for shooters like this. Favorties include SuperStar Dust, 1942/1943, Super R-Type, Gradius, Rez, and the criminally underrated Einhander.
I like TR especially the new direction of the franchise and I'm not saying anything about their fans. I simply stating that this franchise isn't one to stastically push one console over the other. I don't believe really for one second that the TR fans are the ones spewing this hate, but rather console fanboys.
@cgoodno exactly, besides, whatever console you have, you will be able to play this game, so I think much of this is ado about nothing honestly.
I don't get what the big deal, this is not a GTA, a FF, a AC, or even COD. This is not the late 90s, TR is not exactly a console defining franchise, it's a nice short term pickup for the Xbox, that's it. I think people just want to hate for the sake of boredom...
I feel like if they adjusted the brightness settings on the PS4 they would essentially look about the same.
The environments looks just stunning in this game, I will say that townsman character model was a little less than ideal, I don't know why, but the clay/plastic like hair thing still in this current gen drives me nuts.
I can't wait to play this game though.
Question for those who played the Witcher series, can you fast travel? I'm assuming you can in a game as big as this promises to be.
I think every 5 minutes I click refresh on the pending news section a new opinion or article has been written about this game going exclusive. I don't see what the big deal is, it's not like its the late 90s when TR was in it's hayday and it's not it's not going to the PS4 eventually anyway. This reminds of when FF13, DMC, and GTA when multiplat last gen, people will get over it, and problably forget this was even a story here in a few months.
Did anyone else watch the first minute or so and go... "ugh i hope that girl gets axed first?"
I'm curious as to how you reinvent the horror genre too. Either way, if this game is a survival horror, count me in!
It's fine, wouldn't dare to trade either of them in especially with Halo this year, and essentially 3-4 awesome games for the PS4 next year.
Meh, hindsight is always 20/20 but I really should have held off until 2015 on both the Xbox and PS4...
You're probably right, it's obvious I'm not going to get you to stop trolling and you're not going convey a sensible argument for your inconsistent hatred to things non playstation. I'll let it go, I'm sure there will be plenty of other people to take care of you're trolling. Thanks for the memories!
Sigh... I'm pretty sure that even if they delivered what they said they would, you wouldn't believe it anyway.
@Dragonknight I agree with you, I just don't think it's going to matter much. Logically we can look at this as a bad omen for the industry, but I really do think we are in the minority. The die-hards of EA SportsBall franchises will make this work, then will come Activision with their COD crowd, then Ubisoft with their AC crowd and so forth. This subsription plan has been the works for years now, this is the publishers attempt to attack "used game sales" and of course bri...
I have an Xbox one and it is currently the center of my media center. I play the most games on my PS4/Wii U, but xbox one is always on. The kinect voice commands have been a god sent especially when you have a kid who loves to play with the controllers. Having the ability to use your voice to switch between tv, youtube, and netflix on the fly is pretty cool. The Skype feature is also pretty awesome to have for grandparents and relatives to call in and see their granddaughter and use the 5...
