Pun intended? I can't wait to try these out!
@hollywoodla no genius, I'm asking a question, not quoting you... I'll wait for your reply... Oh wait I can't mr. two bubbles
Right?! Maybe they meant progress report grade...
I think it's going to be hard to convey the emotional experience that made the game so powerful to the big screen. I think without a controller and hours poured into a unique experience like TLoU, it's only excepted that something would be lost from the transition to a film. Not to mention, you're asking the most awarded game ever, to be a translated into a medium that exactly panned out in the past. Not exactly an easy gig...
I agree, I think that's sort of the consensus feeling amoung most vita owners. Indies are all well and good, and Killzone did a great job of doing a portable 1st person shooter correctly for the vita, but outside of that, it just feels like they slimmed down larger scale games with the PS3/PS4 in mind, to "fit" the vita handheld.
How could this guy not know about remote play lol? I like my vita but wanting to play it comes in spurts. There are just so few games that really appeal to me. Gravity Rush is great... but the entire time I felt like I was missing the something not being able to play it on a tv and with a traditional controller. Killzone is awesome and being able to play Miami Hotline, and older PS1 games in bed is awesome too. Honestly, though, I very very very rarely use the remote play feature. Anyti...
So wait, all of sudden bundles are bad and desperate, simply because Microsoft is doing them? Does the author not release bundles options have practiced (and successfully) since the NES days not mention Madden bundles essentially every year for the past 14 years? So in theory would the Destiny Bundle (which looks awesome) from Sony be desperate too?
So are you saying bundles are bad? You realize there's like 10 different bundle options for each system right?
Yeah I rarely buy digital AAA games, only if it's ridiculously cheap. The reason being I mean I look at my PS3/Xb360 backlog of digital indies and others that I will probably never get to have moved over to the PS4/Xb1, really makes me hesitant to purchase anything in full for digital content.
Personally between Dragon's Crown and Strike suit zero, it's not a bad month... at least for me.
This would assume there has already been a price cut... a kinect-less unit is not technically a price cut. That being said I could see a $350 price-tag for the kinect-less sku this christmas, of course Sony could do the same for the PS4 and really put the pressure on the Xb1 and Wii U this holiday season.
It's only $30/35 a year... one of those games used is that much. Though I do fear this is truely the begining of the end for physical media... for collectors such as myself, there's really no greater feeling than opening a brand new cd/dvd/blu-ray case or poping in a cartidge.
Ugh yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking too. I was really hoping they would at least allow access back to some of our PSN only titles, I have a couple dozen.
I've never heard of some of these games. PS Now finally showed up on the US store, searching through it, definitely some titles I'd like to check out. I question/issue/fear is for example I own PixelJunk Monsters (PS3), Mega Man 10, and Crazy Taxi... will this service or any upcoming PS4 service allow me to play those games without having to pay for them again?
It's like the Capcom model with Resident Evil. I don't understand why they want to "dumb" down part of what made/makes Final Fantasy games so fun, the turn-based like strategy. Ni Nu Kuni did it perfectly. That being said, it wasn't necessarily the battle system that turned me off to FF, it was the ridiculous and confusing story line of XIII-1,2,3.
Do we know when this going to be added to the store today? I've been actively checking but don't see it.
That's a cool list for games, for 2015.
1.A Mass Effect and 1.B Bioshock
It was down for an hour late yesterday afternoon though, that sucked... It's working sort of for me, I'm able to play titanfall and use Hulu... I can't see why friends list for some odd reason. Hmm, I probably should be working instead of checking xbox, oh well.
The whole marketing of the system, to it's Nintendo fan's, 3rd party delevopers, and to the general public, has been a disaster. Don't get me wrong, the games for the system are great, and it's online infrastructure, while still light on features, is coming along. I think Nintendo tried to have this system appeal to "everyone" while reality only appealing to the select gaming diehards. I'm sure they'll ride this system out at least 2 more years, and maybe,...
