There's actually 45 titles not including the nature documentaries and at least one 1 4K movie being released per week.
True but not having the option to do 4K media playback as I do believe that while physical media is not "as" popular as once before... It's still a really really big driving force in media and a pretty big drawback if people believe maybe one day Sony will add it in. I guess we'll see though!
This was not nearly as bad as the 2013 Xbox One reveal. That being said Sony dropping the ball with the no 4K bluray drive doesn't really position the console long term. Sony really had change to put the proverbial "foot to throat" on the Xbox, but really didn't do anything to make the Pro stand out.
Yeah it really stinks, I was hoping to make this "the media hub" too, since we subscribe to PS Vue. I just don't understand why they wouldn't have included it. Also how exactly they are going to market/explain it doesn't have it.
I'm curious to see how they advertise a console that's 4k Streaming, 4K upscaled gaming, and no 4k media playback... ugh I feel for their Marketing Department.
