Into the low 100s I believe, as it is part of the eye exam to become a pilot in the Air Force.
Soooo you're saying PSVR is $400 dollar controller? Smh...
You realize like one of those games you listed "might" come out this year... the others we'd be lucky to get for 2019-2020
For sure! Of course you have the Samsung and Google VR headsets and those obviously help get them into the hands of the mainstream (mostly because they essentially give them away). But I think article is going after the big 3 in Sony, HTC, and Oculus.
Because Sony is the mainstream "gaming" option of the sets. They are looked at as the leader to really push these into everyone's living rooms/entertainment areas. But VR can't survive on gaming alone, it needs other applications to be successful for the long run. Can't help either that Sony shut down one a the few remaining studios that was working on VR games (Rigs). That typically doesn't signal positivity to the industry.
How is something that's been around since the 90s innovative again? I agree it gives a more immersive feel to gaming... but so did adding the ability for surround sound.
Too many rumors and expectations misguided a lot of people to believe this was going to $250 or below. $300 isn't bad considering this still both a console and handheld.
How can there be a Nintendo defense force when this place is PlayStation headquarters?
If you look at the compromise between it's a new handheld and new home console... suddenly $300 it's bad. I wanted $250 but $300 it's the end of the world.
There are some people here who never cared for it in the first place, so literally anything it could been, said, or done would have been trolling fodder. But I digress... such is the case when any system launches these days.
I'm sure there's a mixture of the scalpers in there for sure... but there was a lot of positive feedback/excitement for everything (at least on twitter) for this reveal. Personally I thought it was an "ok" reveal, but the Legend of Zelda game sold me instantly.
Those dang NES minis... I gave up and built my own Raspberry Pi console.
I have a feeling that no matter the price, people (fanboys) would have complained regardless.
Well it's already sold out... sooo it must have done something right.
Interesting. Hey good for Microsoft.
"Fanboy" rants for the simple minded or shorted sighted that try and discourage other gamers from trying out competing platforms is bad for the overall business, period. Competition is competition, but kids that deem a console or software "unacceptable" to them simply because they don't/can't own or play it or that it's made by a company they have an irrational hatred for, is dumb.
That literally makes no sense...
So very very true.
Wasn't that whole venturebeat digital foundry article debunked already?
So then what do the 55 million 3DS owners do, or 12 million Vita owners do? Don't be daft.
I find it hilarious the minions of N4G try and want so desperately to ban this site... except when it's not about the PlayStation. Kids...
It's Tuesday, just another day of "any one with a camera and a voice posting as if it's news" on N4G.
