This. Sure initial launches sell really well barring any supply issues. Not to mention the PS4 as last checked was on pace to sell at least as well as the PS2. The Switch matching or even surpassing those numbers even in its first year is extremely impressive. But, the second year will be a better gauge of where the Switch will end up. I’m still betting the Switch will end up at 55-65million before it’s next gen edition comes out.
Lol very true
Michael Patcher, failing to predict Nintendos demise since 2006
I would kill (figuratively) for some sort of remake of Zelda II
I'd be perfectly ok with them dropping Uncharted and actually working on something brand new.
The thing is, there's not a whole lot of money to be made from these "classic systems." You have to think aside from the simple production, the licensing fees for 3rd party games take up a lot of the margins. A PSX classic would be awesome, but unlike Nintendo, Sony wouldn't be able to pack it with 1st party titles like Nintendo can. While there were some great 1st party titles for the PS1, let's face it, the overwhelming majority were 3rd party exclusives, that they ...
I think it already passed Horizon, if these numbers are true.
Yeah Nintendo won. Enough surprises, enough actually coming out this year, along with Mario. Great show Nintendo.
Ignore him, a willingly uninformed gamer is not really worth helping.
To the conspiracy theorists... 1. This problem or issue doesn't exist without demand. 2. Running the problem of excess inventory destroys ones earnings report (see Wii U). 3. I will guarantee that there is WAY more money to be made in making Switches than the license heavy NES Classic.
@foxtrot again your opinion, nothing wrong with it. But the majority or reviewers, gamers, and even high profile developers would disagree.
To @perjoss point there's really no need to defend the game here. The overwhelming majority (outside this site) love the game.
Horizon is great too, though after getting into the last third of the main mission/story I almost would like it A LOT more as a scripted linear experience. That and will forever be "docked" a point for your main form of combat as a bow and arrow vs futuristic metal machines with freaking rocket launchers... seriously...
We get it, you dislike the game. The overwhelming majority love it, and that's really all there is to say about it.
I don't know... I'm not sure this review is pro PlayStation enough for this place lol
You're on the wrong site my man if you think the kids here are going to look past resolutions, frame rates, etc. here.
@bg116 exactly. But it is what it is here.
It's funny reading so many negative opinions of the reviews for this game here. I'm just trying to figure out which game Zelda has usurped that has everyone up in arms...
When... in the history of launching consoles have games shown the full power the console???
Well... it's not like those people had much credibility to bring with :)
And money
